Charlie confronts Evelyn over fake romance comments
 

Charlie Doherty and Evelyn Ellis went head to head in the Big Brother house today after last night's latest task.

Yesterday Big Brother stirred up trouble by playing clips of the housemates talking about one another as part of this week's shopping challenge.

One of the clips played was Evelyn talking about Charlie and her relationship with Jason Burrill.

Evelyn had said: "I feel strongly about this so I feel like I'm going to say something, if it's a fake romance, I'm going to call it.

"He's like my dad. ... I could be wrong but I just think it's a bit odd. To think that anyone would hurt him just breaks my heart."

She added to Laura Carter: "I'm sure he can totally handle the situation himself but I'm not buying it.. Something's up."


After the task, Charlie confronted Evelyn who tried to explain herself and why she hadn't said the comments to Charlie's face.

"The reason I didn't want to say it was because of upset you were," Evelyn explained, referring to Charlie's emotional reunion with Jason. "The last thing I wanted to do is go up to you and say what I felt."

Charlie insisted: "It wouldn't have bothered me, these things always come out in the end. That really shocked me, coming out of your mouth. I did not think that would happen."

Charlie went on to claim "no one really understands what I'm going through," hitting back at Evelyn calling her sly by accusing Jason of lying as well.

"I feel like I'm being tested moreso than anyone else in this house," Charlie continued. "The only thing I was upset about is that you said you didn't want to pre-judge anyone when you had already made a judgement about me without knowing the full story."

Get used to it Charlie .... They all love Jason.....this time he's got an army behind him if you attack

well i'm a bit 50/50 with Jason, maybe i can like him again :)

First thing Evelyn has done that's made me take notice.....

I think her and Laura could be quite a formidable team together

well maybe, but they might be in luck if the producers want Jayne evicted next week, that would be another week with luck for Laura :)

I don't think there was anything very wrong with what Evelyn said she was being honest. Charlie is very full on and I am CERTAIN that some of the other housemates were thinking along the same lines. Oh well another nomination lined up against Evelyn. Charlie will be gunning for her. Pity Nat is up this week cos Charlie would be a gonner otherwise

Unless Natalie gets a sympathy vote, the way her HMs are treating her is awful imo

Great to see Evelyn see some well deserved heat.

I think it would only vote if it was vote to save. In a vote to evict situation, her other leg is already out of the door.
