Laura and Evelyn came across better?

Is it just me who felt Laura and Evelyn came across a lot better than Sam and Lateysha this episode. I've gone off Lateysha and Sam a tad after tonight and I thought Evelyn and Laura actually came across quite well, they shouldn't have said what they said but they dealt with the situation in a calm and collected manner.

Underrated dark horse queens?

Amy Jade 23-06-2016 09:18 PM

I disagree.

I don't even think the comments about Charlie were that bad and I like her. Everyone pre judges situations and they were thrown under the bus by the producers tonight.

Drew. 23-06-2016 09:18 PM

Nah but they should never have been put in that position by BB

Daniel-X 23-06-2016 09:18 PM

Mess @ Evelyn going from my third least favourite to one of my faves in one episode.

Tom4784 23-06-2016 09:19 PM

I thought Evelyn came off pretty decently, she seemed genuinely remorseful about Charlie.

Calderyon 23-06-2016 09:19 PM

Next weeks nominees more like with one of them going. Most likely Laura.

They came across OK and i guess they tried to sort things, but they shouldn´t have said those things either and i can see why some people were upset over what they said.

The real culprit though is BB.

Tarryn 23-06-2016 09:20 PM

I really disliked Laura at the start with the Marco situation but the past few episodes I'm starting to take to her.
I really wish she would have stood by her comments more with Sam though & saying sorry to Natalie was stupid as she was not wrong.
But I hope she & Evelyn stick together & see what hypocrites some of the others are.

Lostie! 23-06-2016 09:22 PM

They ended up coming across better than Sam because he just proved them right later in the episode.

And Evelyn being genuinely sad to make Charlie cry was a nice surprise.

Mystic Mock 23-06-2016 09:24 PM

I don't feel that they did anything wrong.

I don't get this whole thing where the Housemates will gang up on people for having first impressions of someone? Also they're allowed to say something negative about Charlie too, as long as it isn't really degrading.

y.winter 23-06-2016 09:25 PM

Yes, but not to the extent of actually liking them.
I can't forget Laura's awful first week.

Northern Monkey 23-06-2016 09:27 PM

Laura is always bitching about people.Evelyn we don't see much of.It's amazing how no matter how much of a bitch someone is as soon as they end up ostracised by the group everyone feels sorry for them and rallies round them.

Laura and Evelyn were never that bad, glad people are seeing new sides!

BB-J*I*N*X 23-06-2016 09:34 PM

yes, it felt like 14 VS 2

hot2go 23-06-2016 09:35 PM

I agree....especially Laura...she's not as emotional as the others which could be good

This especially Evelyn, she hasn't been nasty/horrible during her stay. She hasn't gave me any reasons to dislike/hate her.

I totally agree. Both girls remained calm when trying to explain why they said what they said. I thought Evelyn showed maturity. If it had me I would have been FURIOUS that comments I said BEFORE I met Charlie were aired in such a fashion there was no knowing when they were said. She tried and tried to explain to Charlie she had changed her opinion since then but Charlie who is years and years older than Evelyn wouldn't let her speak, wallowed in the attention from the housemates and had a good old fake cry

andybigbro 23-06-2016 10:28 PM

Tbh I think it was blown out of proportion, they didn't even say anything that bad.

Lister of Smeg 23-06-2016 11:19 PM

Always said Laura and Evelyn were the best 2 women in there :hee:

I'm happy they have each other because they're were being treated so unfairly. Seeing the others sit there all offended:shocked: It was annoying when Laura apologised to Natalie too, but I'm sort of happy she did so that she can get her off her back.

Maru 24-06-2016 02:51 AM

I have to wonder if it would've blown up as bad if she wasn't so attached to Laura. Laura seems to have been written off by a lot of people...

mrflibble 24-06-2016 03:28 AM

I always thought both of them seemed quite nice (if not dull), and they definitely came across better than everyone else. Episodes like this make me want to slap people. People are going to talk behind your back, you're going to talk about people behind their backs. You're going to say things you don't really mean, and you're going to exaggerate. Like holy crap. They were venting and speculating and being paranoid. And everyone just tells them to shut up and not talk to them when they're trying to apologise and explain themselves. Some people really need to get over themselves.

Maria26 24-06-2016 04:23 AM

They came across as two fake bitches playing the victims in the diary room. Honeslty, I was so glad to see the amount of hate those two were receivng on twitter last night. Especially Evelyn who's the biggest disappointment this season. Hearing her is boring af, but watching her trying to be a badass and not having balls in the end...she got caught and is going to pay the consequences. That's what you get for being Laura's bitch.
