Boris has criticised the government...
For failing to set out the benefits of leaving the EU..:umm2:wasn't that your job Boris? Or if not you Boris, there are still plenty of leave MPs milling around, I would be delighted to hear of a tentative plan for going forward apart from Corporation tax being cut, which I expect will be balanced by cuts to the public purse or taxes rises :idc:

1. MILLIONS every week not being sent out to the EU which can now be used to fund our NHS and make our sad orphans super rich.
2. An END to unfettered immigration with net annual migration figures down from 300,000 to a more sustainable number like 6 or 7. 3. A fair, balanced and caring government elected by British people, for British people. 4. EVERYONE gets a FREE Terry's Chocolate Orange. ... 52% of Britons say yum yum yes pls. |
It is a bit rich coming from him after his lies for the leave side in the campaign, he for instance never moved from the £350 million figure.
He was quick to point out the over exaggerations of the remain side while grossly misleading the voters himself. It is even more telling he uses his column in the Telegraph, that he gets paid for doing, to make most of his observations and criticisms as to near all his announcements. |
But this is his newspaper DEAL

For the time being, Cameron is still the PM, he submitted his resignation as he doesn't agree and cannot continue with that decision. Why then on earth should he then talk up brexit. Boris is an unpleasant twat, and i hope he disappears into the gutter of british politics where he belongs.

Well I sort of agree with him about the 'contagious mourning' that has beset the nation. Its not the result that Cameron wanted but having called this referendum there is some responsibility on the government to have prepared for this outcome given that they have the machinery of the civil service, public funds etc. at their disposal. Cameron might be going but its too important a time for him to just be a lame duck gripped by lethargy, he does need to be acting now and exploring how we can make the most out of this result.

Couldn't Boris have used his column for some good by setting out what the government should be doing at this point rather than point scoring? As Head of the leave campaign he is best placed to know how the country should be moving forward, once again he has shown utter contempt for the people who just two weeks ago he was sharing pints with and in some cases coerced into voting out.

The remit was no facts wasn't it....and no experts?
Now it seems we do need someone who knows what they are doing, so bojo and farage aren't going to be of any use are they?...All they can spout are mckenna inspired mantras to influence the weak of will. |
