Series vs Season
 

Which do you prefer?

Season.

Depends if it's a British show or a... not British show

I've sometimes accidentally referred to UK shows as "seasons" out of habit because I watch mostly US shows and very few UK shows nowadays but I do mostly try to use "series" for our shows.

Series for UK and season for USA.

Series is British...Season for US stuff

Series makes more sense

This, I'll change which word I use depending on the show I'm talking about

**** I meant to vote season for non-Reality shows as I see them as apart of the seasonal weather.

I do say series for Reality shows though as for example Survivor: China and Survivor: Gabon aren't really much alike with their contestants so they remind me of being spin-offs to each other.

Season makes more sense because the actual show is the Series and the Season is year they're on

Like most, "season" for US shows, "series" for British programmes.

But series by default.
