BB being inconsistent yet again

What happened to the 2 noms and you´re up rule?

You could have had 8 people up this week.

Samm 07-07-2016 08:42 PM

I know, they need to ****ing set a rule in place

Headie 07-07-2016 08:43 PM

They didn't want to risk losing production faves Jackson and Andy

Pete. 07-07-2016 08:43 PM

This rule >>>

zakman440 07-07-2016 08:45 PM

(Technically it was the two or more with the most as Chelsea had 7 and Charlie, Jason and Emma were all tied at 3)

Calderyon 07-07-2016 08:45 PM

I don´t think they have a rule tbh.

They just put whoever they with random rules set on place each week.

Mullens123 07-07-2016 08:49 PM

I know :( its the most infuriating thing about the last 3 seasons... I mean if there's no clear rule to nominations what is the point in having them? I dont see how C5 get away with it tbh. Even though I'd hate to see 8 people up, it would be refreshing to see some consistency in a nominations rule.. albeit a silly one.

Withano 07-07-2016 08:53 PM

Its annoying. I think they did it to save Andy? But I would have loved to of seen Jackson reacting to him being up.

Will. 07-07-2016 08:54 PM

But then people moan that it's ridiculous having like 7/8 people up :) :spin: :spin2:

I think if it meant that 4 will be up then I get it, but there were already 3/4 HM's with more noms.

Yaki da 07-07-2016 08:56 PM

I'm not watching. But I just read this. You can't blame Channel 5 for these things, it is the production team who are responsible.

The point is, BB needs to be consistent with the rules.

Technically on week 2 for example, Emma and Marco shouldn´t have been up. Andy and Georgina had the most noms.

Charlie shouldn´t have been up in week 3 either. Hughie and Natalie had the most noms.

Georgina and Evelyn shouldn´t have been up on week 4. Andy and Jayne had the most noms.

Sorry, i meant Charlie.

Yeah I guess, although head to head evictions are a very rare thing with CH5 BB, they don't seem to really ever do them.

Producers rely on this kind of mistake.

It had previously been anyone with 2 noms (which means a few of them should have been up this week). Not the two or more with the most (which is how it was once on Channel 4 and one or two series on Chan 5).

Mullens123 07-07-2016 09:12 PM

Has no one ever tried to contact a member of production about this? And has there ever been a response? :/

T* 07-07-2016 09:14 PM

Surely this is something Ofcom can kick their ass about?
Like this is blatant favouritism

Maru 07-07-2016 09:37 PM

Maybe it is based on a max percentage of the house to be up for nomination? Kind of difficult to get a fixed group when you have 1's and 2's all over the place.

MB. 07-07-2016 09:39 PM

The rule's probably something really convoluted like 'two or more nominations and you're up, except if the number of nominees exceeds five, in which case it's the three or more people with the most'

Y'know, like that

jet 07-07-2016 09:53 PM

They have been fairly consistent this series though. It is the 3/4 or more with the most noms but, say, two people have 4 noms each and another 3 have 2 each, then 5 will be up etc.

I dont think it can be though, I mean in Power Trip there was one week where 7 or so people were up and six of them received 2-4 noms. I'd love to think there was any sort of method to the way nominations worked but it doesnt seem to be anything more than rigging for favourites

MB. 07-07-2016 10:02 PM

Oh, the rule definitely changes per series, I don't doubt that

Vicky. 07-07-2016 10:25 PM

I prefer it this way. The 2 noms thing is stupid. BUT, we need some consistency either way tbh

BB-J*I*N*X 07-07-2016 10:28 PM

producers are really pi$$ing me off now

Yeah but we want consistency ffs. The 2 or more nom rule is ****ing rediculous but if they go with it they should stick with it and not change the rules whenever it suits them.

armand.kay 07-07-2016 10:32 PM

The show is actually run by idiots. Like I literally imagine a bunch of chimps in suits are sat in a boardroom discussing which clips to play into the house to cause drama.
