Are we, as intelligent viewers, supposed to believe that both Evelyn and Laura weren't aware that Alex was on the couch!?

Reality TV has to be at least believable to be good TV, and just because Evelyn is pretentious doesn't mean she pretends well.

Of course they knew he was there!

They didn't even say something that would bother him.

Evelyn is far from pretentious. She has come out of her shell, been funny, cringey, sweet and a lot less bitchy than most of the other housemates. She is as strong as any other the other women in there and not afraid to speak her mind (telling Laura that she didn't approve of them seeing their boyfriends a second time after they already seeing them the night before) That took GUTS as Laura Emma and Evelyn were friends in there.

She is not afraid to confront people (asking Jason why he had changed towards her) She has provided some really funny moments like draping over Alex and TRYING to pout. Ok it might be (as I said) a bit cringey but funny all the same. Of all the people left in there I reckon Evelyn is one of the LEAST pretentious. Laura doesn't really interest me. Her antics in the Marco days made me sick. (As did his)
