Peacemaker

Andy is trying to make a harmonious house, and bring housemates together.
He came across not only the voice of reasoning but also good, kind, and fun.
Even Hughie likes Andy a lot now, what a turnaround!

Mitchell 18-07-2016 08:31 AM

I legit thought this said pacemaker

-Sue- 18-07-2016 09:14 AM

Exactly - see what having non-venomous HM's around does it allows other HM's to make their own opinions of others rather than go along with what the majority of gang says :D

Such a great episode so far...(last night) everyone relaxed having fun) the shocker for me was Hughie complimenting Andy lol

RhysJones 18-07-2016 09:20 AM

I did enjoy Andy tonight, but it is funny that this upbeat persona came just before nominations a week before the final

hot2go 18-07-2016 09:28 AM

Hughie had a fish slapped across his face by a few housemates but then the task finished with Andy choosing him as the most attractive housemate. Peacemaker definitely but also a smart move too. If Hughie doesn't nominate Andy this week it will be an act of genius on Andys part.
And I agree with Sue, the root of Hughies problem with Andy was Ryan and Lateysha.

The end of a tense and turbulent week. The absense of Andys biggest enemies Lateysha and Ryan. The booze and the music. The need to separate from Jasons dark mood for a while. The upcoming noms.
Andy was genuinely enjoying himself last night but he was also playing it really smart too.

Yes his mate did that for him, now he seems to be forgetting that.

Andy is a Judas, very sneaky man ,Jason has been his only friend in there, he heard the boos Friday night and straight away slips onto Hughies team to save his own neck

No I disagree .... Andy was supporting Jason and keeping him company all throughout the day. I love Jason but he refused to take Andys advice and snap out of it. When Jason consoled Andy, Andy listened to him, picked himself up and got back in the saddle.
Sometimes misery likes its own company, maybe Jason wanted to be alone. Either way I'm sure he wouldn't have wanted Andy to miss the party because of him.

I never said Andy should have missed the party or not enjoyed himself, he should have.
Your right, i think Jason wanted to be on his own.
When Jason consoled Andy it didnt take just one day to come round, it took a few days and if you remember the convo in the bedroom, Andy said that Jason kept saying to him to explain himself better because the other HM's dont get him. Andy didnt immediately take Jasons Advice.

Andy stabbed Jason in the back last night, the only person who defended him from the very people he was partying with ,and it was SO fake ,all the creeping around them all ,and the new jolly dancing Andy :bored: Leave it out ffs

Exactly! It's really sad to see people who professed to like Andy turn against him at the first opportunity. He's been there for Jason all along and risked total rejection from the group when he stood by him when he evicted Laytesha. No matter how the group treated him, Andy never excluded HIMSELF from them - he kept interacting and just being himself. He never felt sorry for himself either.

I wavered when he was talking to Alex about Jason, he didnt seem to say anything really bad but there was something not quite right about it :conf:

Why was he still sitting with him and being there for him right up until the party then? And how do we know he didn't go out and talk to him now and then? It is not Andy's fault that Jason refused to join in, it is JASON'S.

This makes a huge difference. It's so much easier for someone to have more fun and get involved in things when other people you dislike aren't there anymore and thats why Andys having a much better time in there now

TT350 18-07-2016 11:19 AM

I've got another word for him.

Machiavellian.

I like both but i'm with Andy on this one. Theres only so much he can do or say to Jason to get him to relax/have more fun but it's almost like Jason blanks everything. It must be so draining saying the same things over and over again only to make no difference and to be surrounded by people wanting to bring the mood down.. in Jasons case i don't think it's intentional, i think he is genuinely in a **** mood. But he's evicted the two people he wanted, Charlies no longer there and his mood still hasn't improved.. he overthinks things too much so theres always something bringing him down.. i'd much rather see him enjoying himself like Andys now doing

Well yea I see what you're saying. it does take time to lift ones self out of feeling depressed....and there really is only so much you can do to help someone ...then eventually giving them some space is the best option for them and for you.
Jason was their for Andy in a dark moment but he didn't wet nurse him for hours and Andy didn't expect him to, as I'm sure neither did Jason expect Andy to either.
Jason was just having a down day, not the first one in there to do that but he def was the last. I'm surprised it took so long with all the stress and drama he's had to put up with.

Oh I couldn't disagree more....I think Ryan or Lateysha could be described as that, if only they had the intelligence to realise that's what they are...but Andy to this point has been honest and direct to the point he actually made his own life unbearable because of it.

Absolutely. That's a major reason I like him so much.

Exactly :) when there are people around that tease/ridicule you by every action/word it's hard to be yourself..or relax but once gone.. a person can relax and enjoy time without being judged by their own existence :D
