Well it's been a big improvement on BB15/BB16 so I guess so?

Jack_ 20-07-2016 06:03 PM

Not at all and I still think it's ****ing laughable they built an entire extension and in typical C5 fashion closed it (bar tasks) after a week

That said, upon its conclusion there's a good chance this may be the best civilian series C5 have produced, so every cloud and all...

RhysJones 20-07-2016 06:47 PM

I think this has been a massive improvement on previous ch5 series' so yeah

I'd definitely say it's felt a lot more competitive than usual this year, which is good.

TomC 20-07-2016 07:08 PM

Well the actual format hasn't changed in the slightest, so no (apart from less twists).

If we're talking quality of series though, yes it most definitely has.

Maru 20-07-2016 07:34 PM

It's a good series and the Others twist did set it apart. However, it's not really a different game.

Cal. 20-07-2016 07:36 PM

Yeah there was only 2 nominations twists this series which is an improvement on every week for the past 2 years.

Cal. 20-07-2016 07:37 PM

And 'game playing' seems to have been accepted by the public considering the biggest 'game player' is a big favourite to win (Jason).

crazycolaist 20-07-2016 07:52 PM

Yeah its an improvement will be interesting to see what they do with the second house, rent it out?

zakman440 20-07-2016 07:59 PM

Not really. I mean, this series has been an improvement on the past two years but it's still got it's flaws (cutting Live Feed back to 30 mins a week (and then returning the weeknight feed for CBB), essentially turning the Other house into a task garden, the tasks themselves not being up to scratch etc). It's a shame because I was expecting bigger changes but it's still been an alright series.

Daffodil 20-07-2016 08:50 PM

This series has been different in that there has been a greater proportion of older people in it. Sadly the women tend to be high-heel wearing, long haired exhibitionists, as in all other series. Why is it that hair extensions are compulsory???

hot2go 20-07-2016 09:29 PM

I think the housemates make the biggest impact on how good the show is....and this year it's been a brilliant mix where almost everyone of them has brought good and bad and entertainment.....when I think of really good past BBs it's the contestants I remember more than the tasks or the props.

Agree can't believe they didn't add more live feed

Not at all.

It's been a good series and a vast improvement on BB15/16 but that's more down to C5 getting lucky and the housemates if anything. The production itself is still quite flawed despite the minimal twists and the tasks this series have been bottom of the barrel.

Visage 21-07-2016 01:11 PM

Not really, we still have housemates going under the radar to reach the final week.
