That's semi scripted reality for you :hee:

Did THE OTHERS & CO. know they'd be in there with their ex/enemy?

Sam & Ryan's hatred for each other disappeared within hours. Ryan wants Sam to win
Chelsea & Jayne's feud was about a snog
Jason & Charlie perhaps did know that they'd be in there. He said he didn't watch the show but knew his ex was a BB Super fan and had auditioned.
Laura & Bernado's romance was just odd. Plus how did BB get hold of him?

It's been entertaining but has this been very heavily scripted? If they did know then all this shock, traumatic experience thing has been acting since week 1.

....hmmmm, I don't know Sassy..I've really grown to like Andy but I did think that remark was more back to the 'old Andy' when he always seems to 'point these things out to us'...like he's trying to plant seeds of negativity..?...maybe not but that's how some things felt at the beginning and again last night, that we were meant to 'see how naturally the acting came'....but I don't think that it means anything at all that either could successfully act out a task and be convincing, when the basis of many tasks are like that...I'm not a 'tantrum' person but I reckon and suspect that I and many of us could convincingly screech and throw a few things around....

Jayne cried far too easily for my liking, made me distrust her even more

Yeah I don't know why such a big thing is being made out of it though I only caught the end of it last night

...hawwww, we're up there on your holiday list then......don't withdraw from the sunshine for too long though and enjoy the rest of your holiday, Cherie...

They PRIME them. Hand them the rudiments of a SCRIPT. Then LET THEM GO (with constant covert prodding by the producers, of course). Any impromptu ad-libbing which SUITS the producers agenda is left in, any which does not is either edited out or not shown at all.

'That's BB Entertainment'

A childish tantrum, hissy fit, or strop
Fake 'showmances' that just never stop
Wailing sessions with no tears on the cheeks
Backstabbing and B.S which goes on for weeks
That's entertainment, that's entertainment!

My daughter switched off on night 3 as she said you could see a lot of what was happening was scripted ,it was like watching TOWIE

I agree with Andy. Jaynes harmless but she has put on a great act with her tantrums etc....she is so transparent.
She's convincing with her tears and breakdowns...it comes quite naturally...it wouldn't to many of us.
Ryan and Sam situation was obviously put on...he was best mates with him the next day. Jayne and Chelsea story line was very weak and pretty much nothing.

Everything you mention, I too have been puzzling over. The ability to throw a wobbly at will is either a sign of severe mental illness or a talent honed at drama school.
How on Earth did Charlie and Jason, Jayne and Chelsea, Ryan and Sam NOT know they would all be on BB. VERY coincidental if these three partnerships ALL applied to audition for BB at the same time.
