From His Site :

[Inspired by a speech given
by the late Jo Cox MP,
More United believes in
hope and unity, and rejects
hatred and division.
We have five fundamental
beliefs that we will work towards:
A fair, modern, efficient market
based economy that closes
the gap between rich and poor
and supports strong public services
A modern democracy that
empowers citizens,
rather than politicians]

[A green economy that
protects the environment
and works to reverse climate change]

[An open and tolerant society where
diversity is celebrated in all its forms
A United Kingdom that
welcomes immigration,
international co-operation
and a close relationship with the EU ]

Thats You Kizzy
love

Aw thanks Arista that's a nice thing to say but I 'll stick with Corbyns interpretation of the 5 giants I think :)

joeysteele 24-07-2016 09:27 AM

I haven't made my mind up on this yet, he states any potential MP supporting this move could get support from what he proposes setting up.
Well what if all potential MPs in a seat felt the same, what exactly would be the criteria as to what candidate for what Party gets the support.

It seems to likely have drawbacks ad problems looming so for me at present sound ill thought through.

Not a totally bad idea in principle however.

Not on the fence at all but I have never really trusted Paddy Ashdown's motives on much anyway.

If you are comparing it, as to being a good thing, with the forced/blackmail like 'new' national service plan then it should be looked at with great suspicion in my view.

:joker: I am still waiting for him to keep his word and eat a hat after election night last year Kirk.
If he cannot keep that simple promise, how can anything he says be relied on.:joker:

Mind you, were he push forward as to getting electoral reform,I'd support that move.

I am happy then to be an old misery.
This sounds way too vague for me and also again I state, I wouldn't trust Ashdown's 'real' motives on just about anything.

Yes, I am now a firm advocate for pr.
True democracy needs fully representative government, the system we have now fails in that massively and just creates division.

bots 24-07-2016 10:56 AM

Its the genesis of the latest fad party. My guess is that it is getting ready to become the social democratic party version 2. They will be trying to cash in on the dissatisfied labour MP's that will be looking to jump ship after the leadership election
