Germany blast: Ansbach bar explosion 'leaves one dead'
 

An explosion at a bar in the southern German city of Ansbach, near Nuremberg, has killed one person and injured several others, reports say.

There are conflicting reports about the cause, although the city's mayor is quoted as saying it was an "explosive device".

Police have sealed off the area around Eugene's Wine Bar, the Nordbayern.de news website reported.

Bavarian Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann is on his way to the site.
The interior ministry said that the explosion appeared to have been intentional, contradicting initial reports that suggested it might have been a gas explosion.

This all looks a bit more coordinated than first impressions.

Latest on the news is that the bomber blew himself up.
He was carrying a backpack.
Hopefully this is the case and he is the only fatality. Reports saying 12 injured.

Germany having it bad this week. R.I.P to whoever is killed. Whats it going to take before people realise what the issue is here?

According to BBC News he tried to get into a music venue with 2,500 people inside but was refused entry, and detonated the bomb outside a bar instead. If he'd got in, casualties would be higher :/

This seems like this kind of thing will be a daily occurrence. I think the worst is yet to come.

...horrific time for Germany atm...so heart-wrenching for the family of the person killed but so thankful that more didn't lose their lives...

Err..? Sky News is basically a carbon copy of the BBC, they have the exact same biased political agenda along with most of the MSM :joker:

This is so far from the truth, a news channel owned by Rupert Murdoch does not have the same agenda as the BBC or even more starkly - something like Channel 4 News. They have an agenda yes, but it certainly isn't a left leaning one like you seem to be implying (and nor does 'most' of the mainstream media)

Sky is easily just as left wing these days. Their pro EU, pro mass immigration, anti Brexit, etc narratives are identical.
