Fame comes in all walks of life. I've never watched Geordie Shore, TOWIE, Ex on the Beach so anyone who is associated with those shows are unknown to me.

I know how to respect someone's opinion of fame whether I've heard of that person or not.

People like Sam Fox paved the way for today's glamour models ...without Sam Fox it would be a very different industry now and not so easy to succeed in. She changed the rules and the smart girls in there will recognise that fact.

They are both popular reality tv starts, this is a reality tv show how more relevant can you get? Marie probably has the most supporters on the outside than most of them in there.

You not knowing much about her doesn't make her less important ...page three girls didn't become household names till the generation that Sam Fox belonged to...no glamour model before Sam Fox had a music career, even if the music was crap IMO, she was the first to do that.
In those days people's careers didn't cross over from one genre to another like they do today....she was one of the first to do that as well. She was famous for her modelling around the world than later famous for her music around Europe.
Instead of dismissing her why not learn a bit about her first....she's no brainiac or great artist but she is very relevant to the modern culture of ordinary working class girls who aspire to be better.

i have a few that i can consider celebs and that i like, so that's good enough for me.

Its always going to be difficult for a show like this to be relevant to all age groups, so I think they have made a passable attempt with the housemates selected. Many of them I can't stand, but that's no different to civvy BB :laugh:

It's the most un-celebrity BB I've ever known. Where's the big name? No Baldwin brother, no Michael Madsen... Apart from a couple they're just reality "stars". I am disappointed.

Sometimes the unknown celeb is more entertaining than the known celeb.
