If a forum member got on Big Brother

What would be the rules in regarding talking about the person?

For example if I got on and people on here hated me could they call me a ugly vile bitch where they'd get a warning if they called me that before I entered the house?

Pete. 03-08-2016 08:49 PM

I doubt it would be against the rules

Hmm, I don't know really, because the rules are kinda different when talking about HM's not members. We should have a code word we need to wriggle into VT's if we ever get on so we know who we are talking about!

I think the staff would have to allow any critical threads about you really so long as they weren't sexist/discriminatory/threatening about the member who was a housemate.

I guess they'd have to allow the usual "fat slag" comments that get dished by the morons on here.

Mitchell 03-08-2016 09:10 PM

It'd be chuff :D

Jason. 03-08-2016 09:12 PM

^ lmao

armand.kay 03-08-2016 09:20 PM

Think if you go on BB you're opening yourself up to critisim so will have to deal with it.

joeysteele 03-08-2016 09:24 PM

Speaking for myself I would likely want to support anyone who got on from here if I could.
However,I guess if anyone was a housemate, then they could be open to more criticism than would previously be acceptable along with that support too.

Jack_ 03-08-2016 11:10 PM

I'm sure a mod once said before that as with all housemates anything goes, but if you then returned to the forum and the same insults were being thrown directly at you then it would be a rule break

I know full well that if I were a housemate and returned to see people insulting my family and friends as often happens on here, or indeed if one of my friends or family became a housemate and were having their appearance insulted as also happens, it wouldn't go on for very long, put it that way

It's one of the reasons why I find it so disgusting and unnecessary, and why I wish it would be cracked down on more. Imagine if it were one of your family or friends being insulted so abhorrently

I go with you on all that.

In any event however I do not agree with the insulting of family and friends of housemates anyway.
I do not see them as fair game as the housemates are held to be.

Wouldn't "ugly bile bitch" be unacceptable no matter who we were talking about?

Outside of horrid evil psychos in news stories.

I saw house mates called worse this year tbh

Black Dagger 03-08-2016 11:23 PM

We'll find out when I descend on the house next year :clap1:

Wizard. 03-08-2016 11:34 PM

I'd be dying to get out and see what TiBB said about me. Couldn't be half as bad as what Digital Spy would have to say.

armand.kay 03-08-2016 11:52 PM

I wouldn't come on tibb for like a year if I won.

Maru 03-08-2016 11:57 PM

Are there people on here applying to the show? "BB Enthusiast" and "Forum poster"... could be a legit job description just like The Bachelor

Ninastar 03-08-2016 11:57 PM

lol jk

T* 03-08-2016 11:58 PM

What honestly scares me the most is the risk of going on the show and someone pulling up one of your old posts on here and using it out of context/shaming them

Yep

Your entire social media history would be analysed too, honestly I think housemates these days should just close them all down if they're going in...the BB community can be really pathetic

Rob! 04-08-2016 12:06 AM

Safe to say that one glance through this forum would get about 75% of the users removed from the house.

Not me being ejected from the house at 3am and being given a very serious interview where Rylan lectures me about gay chromosomes. :worry:
