At the start of this whole BB car wreck Sam asked to be taken back into the hearts of the British public again. A strange request because she is trying to go back in time to when she was relevant as a bit of a Page 3 trollop in the early 80s. But, that was more than 20 years ago, and she is a lesbian now, both of which mean that she not only old, but also, completely unattractive to her 'fan base' of teenage frappers like me - a bit like looking at an old piece of leather in shorts and a blonde wig.

She seems a nice enough woman and it always was her bubbly personality that elevated her from just page 3, but the fact is that she stopped being relevant 30 years ago. Now her body has lost it's appeal, she has no actual talent.

But I say this as someone who likes her and hopes she comes top 3 at least.

I will not accept this shade against a national treasure.

Begs the question though, of all the people to single out for having no talent or relevance why you pick the only person in there who has had at least one of those things in her lifetime. :laugh:

I think she lived in a bit of a bubble with her partner and now she has lost her maybe she's looking to recapture a time of nostalgia. Probably all part of her grieving process. She seems nice enough but I'd like to see her getting involved and fiesty a bit more. Even if you aren't in the drama you can an have an opinion.

..it's also I think Jaxie, whether she's highlighted as having opinions or just being overlooked there because of the extreme of other house behaviour ..and as much as we all like 'entertaining' and drama etc..I think atm, the balance that's needed for characters to come through isn't there and something has to give for that to happen..some of the 'entertainment' has to go because it's too stifling and is becoming as non-entertaining as it would be if there was equally an extreme of quiet/do nothing housemates...

I didn't know her partner had passed away a year ago, she says she met someone else 3 months ago each to their own but it feels to me like she might not have given herself enough time to grieve properly, I think she looks great for her age :shrug:

I met Sam in her prime, and she was literally head turning stunning. I think she will place quite highly come the final because she is a very stable down to earth girl.

I didn't take her saying 'take me back into your hearts' as her wanting to go back to being a pin up girl at all - I took it as her saying she hadn't been I'm the public eye for a while but she hoped she could regain interest and favour from the public.

I mean she took a long time off to be with her terminally ill partner, she said so last night that they completed a bucket list so she had taken time for herself instead of playing the celeb game.

However, loath as I am to let facts get in the way of a tasty piece of vitriol, we should acknowledge that she had 12 hit singles (2 of which were top 5 in America!) in 15 countries, so she was/is more than just a mature pair of tits.

Personally, I think she still looks good and I'd rather spend an hour with her than most of the bellends in the house.

She may have no talent but at least its more reasonable for her to be in the CBB house than someone like grant who is in there for.....divorcing/cheating on an actual celeb. I would be happy with her coming top 3 too :hee:
