Is anybody concerned?

Colin is getting bullied mostly verbally, and spatially (although Bear was slapped down for crowding him). He's actually most like a girl among the boys. But now, it is also physically (by girls)! Those pies slammed into his face with great force. Is anybody concerned that there could be long lasting psychological effects for the Boominator?

No. He's a strong character who hasn't let them get to him with their bullying. He's the real man of the house. I'd be more worried about the effect Bear has had on some of the others, and Bear himself if someone really got to him. He's the weakest character - just a dick with no balls.

Maru 11-08-2016 02:28 AM

No I don't think he genuinely cares what others actually think about him. What is most important is Big D is that everyone acknowledges he's a cool badass and not just some tool

We have to admire how he can keep up the act despite all the frequent and ritual harassment. Bear's a noob compared to Heavy Disappointment :nono:

lewis, marnie, chloe, bear, have done nothing but poke their faces into heavy ds personal life, invaded his space, they try and use insecurities to attack him in arguments, when he gets out of the house, he will stay in touch with many housemates, but lewis, marnie, chloe, bear, he will not want to be in the same room with those d''kheads, who can blame him, he will not have those 4 on his facebook or twitter, frankie and heavy d seem to make great mates,

You should have felt the force of that pie on my ****ing face

Babayaro. 11-08-2016 08:05 AM

Fortunately, Heavy D's managed to deal with all the **** thrown his way with ease. One of the things I like about him is that he doesn't play the victim card and stands up to Bear and co.

chuff me dizzy 11-08-2016 08:41 AM

Not concerned in the slightest,he gives more out than he gets back

Long lasting psychological effect?

How would anyone tell? He is already a f.cking ******!

Yaki da 11-08-2016 08:56 AM

Not one bit concerned at all. Because I'm not a hysterical person constantly looking for reasons to write to Ofcom.

He did exactly that in the diary room actually.

No bullying taking place .....conflicts, revenge noms, lost tempers, wind ups, stealing, fighting, arguing but not bullying.
But those who do think it's none stop bullying, why are you still watching it ?

Withano 11-08-2016 12:09 PM

Spatially bullied is an interesting concept, I've never thought of that. I don't think theres long lasting damage though. Short term damage of a migraine at worst

What the **** is your definition of bullying. If a group of four target you to do any of these things repeatedly throughout the day, they are bullying you.

Youve also missed bear repeatedly waking heavy up, bears goading and bears passive aggressive cuntishness. Talking over people, **** stirring, wastig food because hes on a basic rations and abusing his power unapologetically.

Bear is a bully. Bullying isnt exclusive to children, adults can bully too and you pretty much defined it before saying theres none in the house.

The only times i have felt uncomfortable watching CBB is

a) when Lewis made Heavy D 'beg' for that half drunk glass of stolen wine and

b) when Saira stood over Heavy D, with her foot on his bed, ignoring him when he asked her to leave him alone and threatening him into saying what she wanted to hear 'say my name SAY MY NAME' etc

I think Heavy D is annoying but these two events were deliberate intimidation and belittling, using threat to control someone's behaviour. I'd call that a form of bullying.

I think Heavy D is deep down quite vulnerable and i also think Lewis and Saira are both clever but spiteful individuals who have exploited Heavy D's vulnerability for their own power trip.

its just like at school with the popular kids hating on the fatty

Totally agree on b) She was so in his face it was horrible.

I think Heavy D is being totally bullied in there and it will backfire because he will lose the head and then he'll be the one in trouble.

Paula D 11-08-2016 03:59 PM

I think Heavy D would be a good bet to win at this stage though, if he keeps his cool the voting public will soon see through these horrible thugs.

if he stays in and is up against the yobs in the final he stands a good chance of gathering lots of votes from the anti-yobbites

if he stays and ends up against ricky, maybe sam, or renee, then i'm not so sure of his chances as the votes will get split more.

edit: unless colin loses the plot entirely, and continues to fight his own corner (the others aren't fighting it for him, he really is alone - they even went to the diary room without him), i can see him in a final against ricky and renee.

He can look after himself. He takes most things on the chin and with a laugh anyway.

It is true that BBUK is nothing like the constant psycho-babble you get around BBUS. Both are pretty dark though, with the rampant 'honesty' of the UK version contrasting with the outright in-yer-face lying of the US.

A group of 4 haven't bullied him though. Invariably any confrontation has been one on one and Heavy D has himself provoked it as much as they have. And frankly Chloe is within her rights to think he's a prick after calling her "It!".

He's done that with every single person in the house. Bullying tends to be when one person is singled out and it is relentless. Nothing of the sort has gone on here.

Bear's just a wind up merchant. Given that the others have strength in number and have said plenty of things themselves, you could (though I wouldn't) say he's been bullied. Renee never shuts up about him. Aubrey gobbed in his food and drink. The way I see it, Bear is giving as good back.

Why did she do that? Because this idiot after 12 days is still, almost certainly on purpose, calling her "See-ah-rah"

Is she not allowed to get fed up with this?

You're talking ****. You will concede he's annoying, but only to make it look like your less biased than you are. Heavy is an obnoxious prick who winds people up in order to get them to snap himself.

What you mean is this... "Heavy D is ugly and fat and possibly slightly retarded so I'm inclined to overlook anything he does whilst I will put the worst possible spin on anything certain others do because it's fashionable to dislike them"

.

Thanks for confirming that Bear has bullied every single person and not just Heavy, this was a theory of mine too. As for your other points, Bears behaviour isn't okay just because Aubrey did something arguably worse one time. Thats a tired and weird argument.
