Celebrity Big Brother 2016: Bear
The divide in the Celebrity Big Brother house continued this morning, with Bear claiming he was being 'victimised'.


Last night saw a major split between the housemates with Bear, Chloe, Lewis and Marnie running riot while everyone else threatened to LEAVE.

In one scene, Chloe was seen throwing cake and Bear while a naked Marnie and Lewis were being noisy, prompting Heavy D to ask them to be quiet and to ‘have some respect’.

After they refused, a total of six housemates went to the Diary Room and ask to LEAVE and threaten to go on 'strike'.

This morning, Bear was being outrightly ignored by some of the housemates and he wasn't happy.

"It's really weird, the atmosphere today,why is that?" he asked sarcastically to Katie and Ricky, who continued to chat. "Out of curiosity why have I upset you so much? I want to to change my ways."



With the pair not rising to his attempts to provoke a reaction, Bear continued: ""Weird atmosphere, very strange, there's a lot of upset people in here. I feel like I'm being victimised, it's not a nice feeling."

Still not getting a rise out of the other housemates, Bear snapped: "I can't take this no more.

"You need to grow up, it's embarrassing, we done nothing wrong. I know I've not done anything wrong."

James finally broke the silence: "There comes a time in everybody's life when they don't want to be involved."

As Bear branded him a "sheep", James continued: "I don't care what you guys do, you can do whatever you like but I don't have to put up with it."

"Honestly, I think this is ridiculous," concluded Bear.

Celebrity Big Brother airs nightly on Channel 5.

Interesting approach from the man who told everyone who nominated him not to speak to him for the rest of the series

Like, if he genuinely doesn't understand what he and the cock squad have done wrong, then I'm a bit worried for the state of his and their brains, for someone to lack that much awareness and a moral compass, there's got to be something wrong with them.

I hope they continue to ignore him....that will ruin his game plan.

Like, he's not even good at being a wind-up merchant, at least with Marc he knew when to stop at times.

If Bear is being isolated then it's because of his own actions. I hope they carry on ignoring him for the rest of the series.

But what a about the chorus of little voices on here who said Two Wrongs Don't Make A Right...when Bear upset Heavy after Heavy threatened him over the vandalised bed incident ?
Bear is just trying to kick start the Goody Goon Squad cause basically they're boring b-stards...and the best reaction they have is to first rise above it like food Christian folk do...and then try freezing him out..BB must wonder why on Earth they invested their money in these people.

I really enjoyed seeing Bear's inability to cope when the attention was no longer on him. He really did not know how to handle that, and clearly felt awkward and uncomfortable. They have identified what it is that gets under his skin, and if only James and Frankie had not given him any response at all, it would have had even more effect. They were, in fact, pressing his buttons by not feeding his desperate need for constant attention.

I feel very sad for him that a man of his age feels such an embarrassing need, when most people manage to leave this behind in childhood. And I feel sadder still that he has been unable to recognise or develop any other ways of interacting in the adult world. Something has gone very wrong along the way in terms of his mental and emotional development, so I guess he deserves to be pitied.

His reaction just proves that depriving him of attention is the best response.. :clap1:

Bear has wound up antagonised almost all HMs 'freeze him out' is his own doing so they don't get sucked into his BS antics (that's all on him noone elses fault) we call it Karma.. what goes around comes around..

They may be quiet but at least they are not egotistical nut jobs in need of a valium and a labotamy! unlike Bear who appears to need both

As for the 'goody goon squad' this is NOT ex on the beach web cam pay-per-view etc this is CBB.. we don't want eejits we want fun.. drama fights... not perverts on parade for the sake of attention..

there is NOTHING celebrity about Bear Chloe Lew or Marnie IMHO.. they are simply a bad sign of the times.. where it's considered popular to have as much sex as possible drink so much they vomit and shag as many things that have a pulse...

I would take goody goody downright down to earth humour over these vile human beings anyday...

Look at past BB members Brian Dowling a prime example of a superb wonderful outstanding HM did he have to resort to being an asshole or getting his end away in the toilet to win? no.. he did it by personality alone .. THAT is what a great HM is.. personality the ability to make others laugh without being a dickhead :)

We always have antagonists in the BB house ..usually they're female....but never before do I remember a house where everyone else takes it lying down like this lot....where is their fight ? It's eight against four, what are they doing ?

I think I wasnt clear in what I was trying to say, my mistake ...I want to see them retaliate, I was referring to people who have said retaliation isn't right ...and they mostly say that when Bear retaliates....but now they think it's ok.
I think they should all group together and give him a run for his money....that is what we usually see and expect on BB....we saw it with Marc, Tiffany, Frenchie, James Jordan....this lot are just not delivering at all...they are letting him walk all over them as if they are in the outside world but they're in the big brother house.

oooh trust me too would love to see them take on bear but can understand why they dont.. he would make their lives hell eg pee in beds.. food in shoes.. god knows far too unpredictable and terrible to provoke in a small space they can't escape :)

I would love love love them to quit 'ignoring; his behaviour..

This is not just a pro Bear thing....it's not about like or dislike....the ones who are playing the game are Bear, Heavy, Renee, Chloe, Lewis and Frankie....I onky like three of them but I like that they all have some fight in them.

if the others have said things we've not been shown them, but i don't think they have - unless you count katie's (and the rest) nominating him.

i think i was expecting more from james whale in this department, but that's down to my own preconceptions based on his radio shows and not taking into account his mellowing with age and the effects of surviving cancer.

the thing is, i believe people should be able to spend their time in the house enjoying the tasks (or not as the case may be) and getting to know eachother, their own limitations and strengths, by being tested by BB... NOT having to endure tthis incredibly disruptive member of their tv society. the other 3 of the set are all dreadful, but without him it'd just be a lame lewis-marnie showmance.

I have to be honest I loved James back in the day but he has deffo mellowed in his old age or he is keeping quiet for the sake he can't escape..if it all goes pete tong... (eg walk away)

I could not keep my cool with bear at all.. if i was in there.. I would had hid his cigs... poured eggs / milk anything yucky in anywhere that would piss him off ages ago... karma.. and revenge ;)

They are retaliating. by ignoring the prick. They realise that the only thing little prick hates is being ignored, so ignore little prick for the whole show pleaseeeeeeeeeee

But they only have some 'fight' in them, cause they know that they cant. No one can hit them without being removed, and vice versa

If he went into any pub I know and behaved like that, he would not get out alive, so yes it is unfortunate that they cant react 'normally', cause I would pay to see that c..t killed in the most violent way!

Those examples are exactly what there should be more of....Sam was part of a task but Siara, James, Frankie and Heavy have all stood up for themselves at some point ....and Renee is great IMO for the very reason she speaks her mind,..
If Bear was in there with James Jordan or Pet Burns or Gemma Collins he would get back what he dishes out. I want to see that....I loved it when Renee called Bear and Heavy Dumb and Dumber....funniest clip so far for me...if she had more back up she would do this more but she's fighting on her own

Perfectly sums him up and how and why the others would not enable or overly react to his antics. It's what he needs to be of any real interest. Either an enabling crew or the knowledge he can cause reactions which show others in a negative light. Showing no reaction to his infantile pranks changes everything eventually. The pranks in isolation with no reaction would become tumbleweed moments. I don't think the others will totally manage it and I doubt Renee will but without any reaction, he is a very tedious man child.
