Bear on the live feed suggesting the spin-the-wheel was rigged

I think he's probably right.

Are you only coming to this conclusion, of course stuff is rigged, Jason hitting the button first was rigged :hee: the producers can't rely on the public to make the right decision, I can see Bear spilling a few production secrets when he come out

I switched off the last BB series. But it is quite offputting how they rig this show now, from making up the rules for nominations after they've taken place to stuff like this.

There was once a clear format, where the 2 or more with the most votes were up and that was it. And the show got 5 million viewers back when they did this.

This is one of a few shows that never needed to move on with its rules or format. It just needed to continue to find relevant housemates who reflect something of what is going on in the outside world at the present time. Instead, they seem to have done the opposite. Changed all the rules, non-stop, but selected the same kinds of housemates year after year.

Yep it keeps chopping and changing, this is why I don't vote any more it's a waste of money as the edits will swing the vote

If it was rigged it was a well worked rigging as the wheel seemed pretty constant. Even if it was it was a great idea. Anything to break that group up as James won't go. Probably marnie now.

power2thepeople 11-08-2016 10:40 AM

If he's whining about an allegedly rigged prop then that's still a minute measure of the irritation some viewers feel for having to watch two types of hour long show edits. Either Bear and his buddies playing pretend doctors and nurses or Bear and his buddies hog all the airtime due to anti social infantile pranks. Orchestrated by them for maximum airtime. Maybe the producers felt guilty for seemingly allowing it to be the squad show. Who cares? Maths is clearly not their strong point. Regardless whether there are still 4 or 3 of them after Friday, there is still a divide in the house in which the "Our House" squad are outnumbered in terms of potential noms. So they either continue being obnoxious and take the noms on the chin or they begin crawling up arses. I predict the latter.

Didn't see the live feed but it's interesting that people's theory that it's only editing that makes Bear a talking point...here we are talking about the live feed and here we are talking about Bear...when I have seen live feeds I still haven't seen Ricky, Sam, Katie, James or Aubrey do or say anything interesting or note worthy.
I think it's time to face facts and admit that those people are not where the action is at. Even Saira came out and told us that some of them are doing nothing other than sit around all day.

Yes, I totally agree with you. It's a real shame they've gone down this path.

Garfie 11-08-2016 11:22 AM

Although it might have been rigged, so was the decision to allow only the saved housemates to vote the previous night, as that was a clear choice on the producers part to control the nominations.

Whether it was or not, I am just very glad with the result last night, and am hoping it will mean that the awful group of Bear, Lewis, Marnie and Chloe will be diluted. That would at least be a true reflection of the feelings of the majority of housemates which nominations should actually be about, rather than the producers' favourites.

The point I'm agreeing with is that I just want normal nominations back again, rather than them being clearly manipulated to favour a few.

chuff me dizzy 11-08-2016 11:26 AM

Thought exactly the same thing last night

Cal. 11-08-2016 11:28 AM

Renee caring

jennyjuniper 11-08-2016 01:14 PM

Well it's been rigged to keep him in so far, so what's he complaining about?

reece(: 11-08-2016 04:14 PM

Don't be pressed it didn't go Bear's way

Withano 11-08-2016 04:18 PM

Doubt it. That would mean the producers are listening to the fans.
