The Bores V THe Rat Pack
 

The bores are showing their true colours hardly a decent soul amongst then, just a group of boring, talentless, jealous wannabees with insidious streak of vengefulness running through their every vein. You could possibly rule Frankie out from that group.

Rat pack are young, selfish, annoying to other housemates primarily because of their youth and exuberance.

Give me the latter any day of the week.

Katie, Aubrey,Ricky and James for me may as well not be there, if they are not moaning they are in effect doing very little and mostly nothing, for me near totally boring.
Sam Fox,I really like but she is not delivering at all for me,she has been a massive let down.

Renee and Heavy D do get involved and make something of their time in the house at least.
Frankie is the best of that whole bunch in my view, entertaining without being offensive and in your face all the time.

The others the rat pack as they are called,at least stir up emotions in viewers,negative and positive, so for me although I would hate to be in the house with them, or for that matter just out with them,I have something to talk about as to them, unlike near all the others in there who seem to think they are anywhere else other than a BB series.
So I come down more for them.

Near all BB series I watched,there have been wind up merchants, those who went out their way to annoy certain others, food fights, chaos, mess in the house and really bad behaviour.
Showmances and endless conflict between some housemates too.
This one is no different.

Jedward for instance annoyed most of the housemates very heavily indeed,when they were in,trashing the place and overfilling the bath too.
Throwing chairs into the pool.
James was brutal in his treatment of Gary in his series.
Aaron who won his BB series was constantly got at and targetted by Jay and his so called wolf pack.
Harry in that series ordered virtually no food one week and only got bananas.
Luisa constantly wound up Jim Davidson as to him getting sleep in his series,she would only start her noise when he was going to bed.
These are just examples from the Channel5 BB,don't get me started on the real nightmare of the Shilpa one on Channel 4.
This series is really no different to others in my view.

Do these people never watch the show before going in, who just want set bed times, do a few tasks, and then expect to sit around most of the day taking in the view or sunshine.

I don't find them boring at all, it's the so-called 'Ratpack' who are tedious.

I am totally bored with Bear and Bloor's now predictable, infantile, egotistical, selfish, anti-social antics, and totally bored with seeing all the 'Park Bench', 'Bus Shelter', Back of The Bike Sheds', juvenile, 'face sucking', 'snogging', 'petting' and 'pawing' from them with their vacuous 'girl friends'.

It is like visiting the 'Greta Garbo home for wayward Boys and Girls'.

They remind me of those entertainers who some find entertaining enough when they are appearing on some bigger star's show in a 5 minute 'guest spot' , but who fail miserably when some hapless producer has given them their own one hour series, because they are neither talented enough to fill more than a few minutes, nor is their repertoire comprehensive enough to satisfy the demands of a full series.

A little 'talent' cannot be stretched a long way without the impairment to the quality of a TV show being cruelly exposed, and the audience eventually becoming bored of the same old tired predictable routines.

Some ordinary men can be the most humorous comedians and wagsters when they are out and about in the community or on holiday, and have any strangers whom they may meet briefly in stitches, but their wives will rarely laugh because after living with them 24/7 for years, they have heard every joke and seen the entire repertoire.

Well folks, TV is like that 'wife' - it consumes and exposes many an established comedian's/artist's full repertoire in one 60 minute show - which is why not many 'stars' opt for their own TV shows any more.

The same routine can serve an entertainer well for decades, when he is travelling all over the country appearing at little theatres, performing in front of a few thousands, but one TV series and his material has been seen by millions of viewers.

I'm afraid THIS is exactly why the so-called Ratpack' are the REAL bores.

Whatever, highly questionable, 'entertainment value' their boorish and infantile behaviour holds for some - they are ONE-TRICK little ponies, and even after just two shows, the jokes had worn thin, the same predictable 'routine' became tedious to watch, not to mention, annoying and infuriating.

They are, at best, 5 minute 'GUEST' artists on a bigger star's show, but the CBB producers have - for some unknown, illogical, and unfathomable reason - turned over to them, this hitherto entertaining show, and subjected us to the tedium of watching 4 pathetically desperate, talentless non-entities frantically plumbing the depths for ANYTHING at all with which to shock or surprise us, in order to hog the limelight and secure greater fame and fortune.

I love the - still - anarchic, off-the-wall comedy of The Marx Brothers and The Three Stooges, but who the hell would choose to watch 'Duck Soup' every single night of the week for a month?

But, the 'Ratpack' are well and truly on that treadmill of boorish behaviour, faux 'showmances', 'flesh exposing' and fake humour, because they HAVE NOTHING ELSE TO OFFER US IN THEIR REPERTOIRES.

They are too young to have had many interesting life experiences with which to enthrall us - even if they did opt to sit down and hold sensible and mature conversations - and they have NO talent, and only very short 'Showbiz' careers, so there are no interesting anecdotal stories which they can recount there either.

Yet, all the while that these four morons are allowed to dominate the show with their boring, hooligan antics, they are preventing the 'others' from injecting REAL entertainment into the show, because among those suppressed 'others' are REAL celebrities - like James and Samantha - who are OLD enough to have enjoyed long careers which are PACKED with interesting events and stories, or those who are young but still talented enough and intelligent enough to GENUINELY entertain us -- like Frankie and Aubrey.

No - some of you can call the 'others' 'The Bores', but I KNOW who are the REAL bores because the so-called 'Ratpack' - an insult to Frankie, Deano, Sammy and Peter if ever there was one - could NOT entertain me in a '5 minute guest spot' let alone 60 minutes night after night.

The rat packs antics have become boring very quickly. The public have already become bored of the sex antics and vulgar childish bullying tactics. They'll all be voted out by the end.

Again, stop confusing being young with acting stupidly. This boring excuse is so flat.

Not bothered about either really. I just support Bear. He's not always involved in the squabbles. Last night the three of them were arguing and he was just lying on the sofa chilling :laugh:

The whole series is a shambles because of the lack of balance, the "entertaining" ones are not particularly entertaining, as it's just a soft porn show and the bores are more whiners than bores, no one seems to be able to strategise and actually play the game properly as evidenced by the amount of nomination talk rule breaking, there are no proper tasks, no diary room chat, the only one we see in the DR on a regular basis is Frankie, the bores packing their bags was just cringey I like James but he is just whiling away his time to get his fee, as are most of them in there, which is a bit insulting to fans of the show, Frankie is the only one actually trying to do anything constructive to bring the house together, crowning Ricky the winner who as done less than Alex from BB17 will be the icing on the cake, an awful winner for an awful series

I'd like to opportunity to see some housemates who don't have comedy plastic tits, who're not sticking their tongues down each other's throats, starting trouble and humping each other. They're the bores. Unless you're, like... 14 years old. Then they're probably brilliant.

I'm more for interesting housemates vs not interesting housemates ....and there are both on each team. When I think of Renee I don't lump her in with Ricky....my final team of choice includes both sides.
