Should a Housemate ever trust a James in the show?

I'm thinking of James Hill when he nominated Austin in CBB16, James Whale tonight when he nominated Aubrey, and James from BBUSA9 (I'll put in spoiler tags for people that haven't seen the season)
Spoiler:

when he broke the promise with Natalie to not go for Natalie or her showmance.
Or James from BBUSA17
Spoiler:

when he broke his promise to Shelli and Clay about not going for them that week.

So basically we've had quite a few people with the name James over the years, some good and some bad to watch, however if you was a Housemate would you ever align with them when they've been the most notorious Housemates for betraying their alliances over the years on BB? And in different formats too.

I personally wouldn't and I like James a lot, I still do.. But in the position of the housemates, I wouldn't trust him.

Theres a very clear divide, everyone vs the ratpack. Nominating outside of the ratpack is a dickmove.

Does that include Katie who nominated James one of her own

Oh God, I forgot about that.. I guess so yeh, she didn't even use the BS "I think he wants to leave" reason

rusticgal 14-08-2016 10:38 PM

....and James took Katie's vote all in his stride...RESPECT!!

I have a lot of respect for James and Katie for not doing the obvious.

its a show where they are ALL competing against each other to win. Nominations is part of that. Trust has got nothing to do with it.

Not a dick move if you know that Bear is the ticket and that aligning yourself to his side is actually the smart move.
Why do you think Frankie keeps dipping his toes in ? Same reason.

Thats an interesting theory, personally i think its flawed. The final two will be bear vs the anti bear vote (looking likely to be Renee).. If Bear makes the final that is, will his fans vote multiple times biweekly until the final? His lack of competition is his strength.. And i dont think this was James' intention anyway..

I don't think James will be in the final two, I doubt he will even be in the final...but I think James believes he could reach the final I think he recognises Bears strong chances of winning.

James actually showing he has his own opinions and won't be intimidated by Don Graziano

No thats my point, the final 2 will be bear and the anti-bear vote so him nominating people outside of the rat pack isnt a smart move. I think he'll make the final because hes more popular than the majority of housemates. Probably 3rd or 4th.

from where i'm standing James beat Bear in the vote last Friday, so he has as at least as much chance of being in the final or winning as bear has

So why align himself to Aybreys group ? Makes sense he didn't nominate one of Bears group.

i think people try to explain things and find hidden meanings where there probably aren't any. Maybe James just felt like nominating her, and thought it would be funny. Logic is not necessary to nominate someone

puzzled 15-08-2016 01:29 PM

Why would anyone trust anyone?

Hm. I don't see Renee as the George Washington of the anti-Bear vote. Aubrey though, maybe, now her insanely competitive US Apprentice streak has been awakened by James' betrayal?

I dont think theres a clear anti-bear vote either yet, this will become clearer when we know the final 6 though and see how they interact in a smaller circle. The person in the final 2 with Bear will be because they are anti-bear though, so personally i think James and Katie might have blew their chances.
