Shipwrecked was an island based reality show, this series was 2011 (filmed 2010) In the clip the cast mates have returned and are taking part in quiz. When asked which "castmate most likely to have a media career?", they all said Bear. Flash forward to 2016, he's dated Vicki Pattinson, about to star on #2 Ex on the Beach (MTV are even using his CBB notoriety in the ads despite the show having gaz from Geordie shore) and is the main star on cbb. He's obviously peen priming himself for "stardom" for 6 years.

SIDE NOTE : Bear has blatantly had some 'work done ' gone under the knife. Can't work out exactly what he's changed but his face does look different.

... and in all that time he hasn't developed any obvious talent! :)

:joker: Was going to say being an annoying prat, then I realised he was a prat on Shipwrecked but he did have redeeming qualities back then eg who could be kind, sweet and a good friend. I actually didn't realise the guy on Ex On the Beach and this cbb was the same Bear. Penny didn't drop for me for about 3 days.

I mean, when you desperately seek out for a Z-list media career it's not really that hard to find it. Especially when TV shows like Ex on the Beach and Celebrity Big Brother exist.

Good luck to him, if that's how he want to earn his cash, people obviously tune in for him, I bet ex on the beach will have a few new audience members this time round, there seems to be a huge audience out there for scripted reality and I guess it beats working on a roof in the rain :shrug: It's the people who avidly watch these shows create the monsters :hee:

The other Shipwrecked alumini from previous seasons include Sarah Jane Crawford (Radio tr and former Xtra Factor presenter and Jeff Brazier from This morning and former partner of late BB royalty Jade goody and everyone forgets that they did Shipwrecked as it wasn't a huge hyped shows). Got a feeling Bear is here to stay as a media celeb, albeit Z list. The media seem enthralled by him, he will be a male Jade a Goody type.:nono::bawling::fist:

Oh please don't compare him to Jade Goody, she had a lot of good in her. Bear has no redeeming qualities and said himself last night he doesn't give a **** about anyone. I've never met an true narcissist before but he is the closest I've ever observed.

5 I am not a Bear fan. However several showbiz journalists including Wooton from the Sun have admitted he's very savvy and engaging from a showbiz journalist point of view.

Plus he's managed to keep in public eye for almost 6 years with little talent and his post Shipwrecked resume is not empty eg romances with Vicki P (the Manchester United of female reality stars) , dating a Gaz Beadle ex girlfriend from Ex On the Beach, being interesting enough to be in upcoming all star series, and getting into Celebrity BB without really being a celeb (Towie is a national phenomenon and huge internationally so Lewis has a claim, Geordie Shore is massive in Australia so marnie is sort of a celeb) and yet on lower profile Bear is in CBB, level with them, in fact Bear is the least famous HM in CBB and is dominating the headlines over stars and veterans like Sam Fox and the brother of one of the biggest pop stars. Heck the BB HMS like Laura and Alex, Marco are more like celebs than Bear
