Hair extensions

I'd like to know girls thoughts on these? None of my friends have them but most of the conceited girls at uni do, I don't use and especially find it a tad annoying when I walk on my mum's clip ons in the house :joker:

What's the benefit?

They're a tad dated these days

Kazanne 16-08-2016 07:58 PM

I've had them, for a wedding a couple of years back,i wouldn't have them again they are so annoying and fake looking.

I don't use them but I am friends with somebody who uses them because she has something called trichotillomania (she pulls out her own hair) and she uses the extentions to make her hair look thicker

It seams to me that even la white girls are purchasing a weave these days x

When you can see the clear grip showing, some girls don't even try :joker:

The overall purpose of hair extensions is to add length and volume to your hair, do a variety of hairstyles safely without having to damage your hair with daily styling and heat.

Nn some gals will invest in any cheap trash as long as it boosts their follicle count

A good tight, juicy sew in >> Raggedy rats tails flopping all over the place, ousted from that premium bundle.

a lacefront is also an option these days. They do wonders!

I advise against lacefront. They are not good for edges :nono:

I know that is the worst tbh,you need a really good hairdresser to do them properly, even then putting your hairup can be dodgy:hehe:

Can't you get clip in ones that don't snatch the baby hairs?

welp. The worst ones imo have to be those mini extensions that a lot of white girls use... like the single ones with the glue at the end thats melted into their hair.

Josy 18-08-2016 12:31 PM

My hair is more than half way down my back and before that it was hip length so its always been long enough to not need them. A few of my friends use them though.

I've never used them myself, but I've never seen any on anyone that looks nice or natural. They damage the scalp and mostly look grubby and as if the person wearing them needs a good wash.
