BB for chavs.
 

The way the prod staff have handled this series has been dire. They pander to fake personas like bear and are the only group of people on the planet that can't see through fake showmanses. They have turned BB into an instruction manual for chavs and lowlifes.

God only knows how many fans will stay loyal but it's getting very low and they only have themselves to blame mainly due to their constant meddling and lack of control. I doubt I will follow the programme anymore.

it would need to have a serious turnaround for me to watch the next series. The change in the show has been happening for a while now, each one getting progressively worse. I hold out little hope for it recovering to something I personally want to watch.

Of course, its up to C5 to decide who they want as an audience, they clearly are not targeting the traditional BB fans, and that's fine, just don't expect them to continue to watch it.

It's all done in the worst possible taste. This Production Team are dire. We barely know any of the other characters other than the 3 remaining protagonists. What's the point?

I have always defended BB against people who say it's dire and low quality, I have loved the show for most of my life now and have been a vocal supporter but after this series i honestly feel ashamed to be a fan - Bear was obviously placed in the house and instructed to cause drama and arguments, but he's taken it too far smashing up the house, the attention seeking has massively impacted the show in a negative way for me and people who say 'at least he's doing something the others are boring!' annoy me because we have had fleeting glimpses of Renee, Aubrey, James and Sam that I wish we could see more of but C5 seem desperate to force Bear and the showmance upon us and the fact Bear is being protected so much has made me lose so much respect for the show - housemates have been ejected for much less even in this very series yet he seems to be able to do as he pleases.

If he wins I honestly think I'll avoid next year's, I see no point in investing time into something I only watch through habit rather than enjoyment

...hmmm I know what you mean Amy but that feels a little as well like...'I had one bad friend so I won't have anymore friends' because next time it could be great housemates and a great series and you would miss all of that because of Bear../you would have allowed him to have deprived you of something you may have enjoyed..?...I don't know though because we can't blame the producers/housemates etc either or any factors so long as we're still all watching because while we watch/they'll give us etc....

..(I'm going to think of it like having a child, I reckon...well that was a pain that I wouldn't want to experience again in the upcoming soon and need time to recover but by next January though...bring it on, baby..)....

Pretty much this, the signs have been there for a while now but i agree, this series has taken a sharp nosedive.

BB has always been for chavs since like Jade.

This is just such a terrible series. The thing is though, structured reality stars are so cheap. Most of them make most of their cash with nightclub appearances. Bb will not stop raking in the structured reality stars because most people recognise them as celebs and they're not budget breakig at all.

Hasn't it always been that way? I'd refer you to Bubble, in series two. So, should it be a surprise that the likes of Bear, raised on Big Brother, go mildly insane when they're given the opportunity?

I agree that this series has been absolutely dire. Big Brother has a name .... and it is Jeremy Kyle!!

Ive just got back after a month round the uk tour and the tv hasn't been my first priority, but Ive caught enough to tell me that if this is the shape of things to come, im done. CH5 hired a bunch of kids to produce it and allowed a 2nd rate tosser to run BOTS while a great presenter got infected with the diva and PC bug and now she cant even be bothered to comb her bloody hair. Its chavvy and really sad to see it go so far downhill.

This years winner (probably Bear) has used the show to feather his own nest and its sad to see our beloved programme being used by professional reality wankers. In fact I cant see one person in there that I would be pleased to see win apart from maybe James or at a stretch Frankie and that's dead weird for me as you can well guess.

i'm another that's stopped watching. Its been coming for a while, and this series has just rammed home how bad its become. I would be incredibly surprised if it will pick up after this as the level of "celeb" willing to participate will be dire
