When the noms were revealed, and Bear was doing his usual roofless spiel, Marnie said something like " but I told them to" ? So I guess now Lewis is gone Marnie is surplus to requirements so we didn't get to see this and she didn't get punished, but the show isn't engineered at all is it :laugh:

I thought she said she told them she wanted to go. Surely if she told them put her up it WOULD have made the highlights. I reckon they were DELIGHTED she said that as the reasons all three Americans put her up were NOTHING to do with her supposedly wanting to go. In all fairness to her anytime she has been up she has been great about it not like the horrible up themselves Katie who was annoyed she is FINALLY facing the public and Sam who has had a strop anytime she has been nominated

I'm pretty sure that she said that she wanted to go to be with Lewis. She shouldn't be punished for that

Im barely watching it though, could be wrong.

I thought it was just the usual excuse given by HM who don't like to accept they're unpopular in the House.

Withano, I think they were trying to explain that their reasons for nomming her were something they had already spoke of. Hard to hear it with Bear trying to orchestrate another drama again though. Marnie shutting him down made me warm to her actually.
