I'm surprised that anyone else is surprised, to be honest. The vast majority of the nation stood still while the media pulled the wool over their eyes. And then they let them spin them around, chanting at them and indoctrinating them with real bigotry, intolerance and hatred - where nothing but fabrication existed before. They're only doing what they were told to do, after all.

As for Danielle being a 'hate figure', that's conditional. Or as the Daily Star would probably put it; 'Racist! Bully! But what a cracking pair of ****!'
