Why have the Daily Mail suddenly started to care about the environment

MB. 25-08-2016 01:17 AM

Looking forward to tomorrow's front page, "toxic beads cure cancer"

If it's from the Daily Mail it'll be more like "Immigrants and their toxic beads cause cancer."

Oh,
The taste of your lips
I'm on a ride
Your toxic beads slippin' under
With a taste of a poison paradise
I'm addicted to you
Don't you know that you're toxic?
And I love what you do
Don't you know that you're toxic?

Do we know for a fact that ocean creatures dont want minty fresh breath and a vigorous body wash?

T* 25-08-2016 01:48 AM

You'd think they'd at lead you know, give at least a tiny bit of space for the happenings in Italy but nope
Cosmetic beads.

No TOXIC Danger Beads

smudgie 26-08-2016 10:42 AM

Haven't we already started phasing them out?

It's the daily mail trying to do something to make themselves look better rather than the garbage tabloid they actually are.

Jessica. 26-08-2016 01:34 PM

There's some in my shampoo :omgno:

arista 03-09-2016 09:32 AM

Now give the DM some credit
as those 2 front pages
got the UK MP to ban them
by next year

Not Every Import or Company

Livia 03-09-2016 12:42 PM

Can't imagine why they weren't banned years back.

Kizzy 03-09-2016 01:43 PM

Has nobody worried about the toxic soup rubbed in your hair, or on your body, are the companies not being held accountable for this?

Jessica. 03-09-2016 01:51 PM

I bought shampoo that has a label saying "NO BEADS" :amazed:

Kizzy 22-07-2017 09:45 AM

They're now banned :)

Very closed minded. Singling out one paper all the time when there are several tabloids, left and right, whose articles would not pass close scrutiny when it comes to bias, never mind fact-based content is pointless.

The Canary for instance is well known for its left-wing bias and been criticed for fake stories. Where is your sarcastic criticism of that paper. Such obvious bias wipes out any credibility. :roll eyes:

Such obvious baiting :roll eyes:

What were the fake stories?.. I'll bet my granny you can't find one.
BTW what is your opinion on the actual topic of the thread ?

Would speak for itself in my opinion. No-one in their right mind wants toxic products in water supplies or toiletries.

So you only came into the thread to defend one news source and denigrate another?...ok

I went into the thread out of interest like anyone else. Do I need permission now to do so? :conf:

Vicky. 22-07-2017 11:15 AM

The amount of plastics in the seas and stuff is ridiculous. So many alternatives are available so not sure why we keep using these...
