Is anyone really learning anything from these debates.
I will probably watch it and shake my head most of the time all through.

This really is becoming more of a pointless exercise on a daily basis.

smudgie 28-08-2016 10:37 AM

As much as I love to watch anything to do with politics, I haven't watched any of these debates.
I find the pair of them rather boring and disingenuous to say the least.
Please please can the Labour Party come up with someone better to represent them, give the Tories a run for their money.

Yes we seem to go in Circles
I hope a live question is new to us all.
Owen seems to jump at anything that will get him Elected
Jeremy is more real and solid

Some of us are trying smudgie.

Sad and bad days these are for sure in my view, because it now does seem many MPs and so many in the Party, have lost sight of who the real political foes are that we should be taking a stand against.
Namely the Conservatives but also UKIP, who should have lost near all relevance since the EU vote and yet we allow them to appear a possible outlet for any dismayed Labour supporters due to Labour's divisions.

Preferring to go down this even more divisive road in place now, because after this, whoever wins this leadership farce, the same issues and problems will remain and may even be worse.

They need to look for some young blood with fire in their heart.
The sooner you get up there the better Joey.
The trouble is, if we have no decent opposition then the party in power can get away with far too much.

Please not, anyone but him or his other half.:fist:
I really don't know who Kizzy, but someone with leadership qualities that actually have a chance of winning an election one day:shrug:

there are plenty fine candidates within the labour party, just none of them want the job at the moment. It takes a lot of guts to stand up to what is going on within the party just now, and none seem to have the balls for it.

There are many Bitontheslide I agree.

I hoped someone like Dan Jarvis would be in the mix but sadly not.

I have already voted in the leadership ballot but will watch this.
It is really too late in the campaign anyway.

Labor have absolutely no clue whatsoever what the public want no matter who fronts them.

Johnnyuk123 14-09-2016 08:22 PM

Someone please ask Corbyn what he thinks of the Queen. Make him squirm.

no one will

Johnnyuk123 14-09-2016 08:38 PM

Tories in charge and labour slag them off, Labour party in charge and the Tories slag them off, sounds like a broken record right? It does not matter who is in charge cos the other side will always slag them off because the only thing Labour is interested in is getting into power. They won't because they are not representing the public at all. only themselves. :nono:

Johnnyuk123 14-09-2016 08:41 PM

Spend spend spend, that's Labour's solution for everything. Then the Tories step in to clear Labour's debts from over spending. :joker:

I didn't watch any of the debates. It's a complete waste of time as neither will ever be an effective leader of the labour party, let alone PM
