Welp, RIP.
loads of people from my year have gone. |
''Chief superintendent Keith Gilert said:*"The family*were made aware of the incident by officers as soon as possible and were assisted to attend the hospital as quickly as possible.''
...jeeez, your child goes off to a music festival with his friends...and so full of excitement, maybe even his first festival.../...poor young guy and it's unimaginable what they're feeling...... |
This is why you shouldn't take drugs kids, I feel for his family.

RIP.
When I went to Reading 3 years ago, it was quite surreal how bad of a state people would get themselves into. The number of collapsed bodies I saw was just horrible. It's sad that people feel the need to have so much drink/drugs to enjoy the experience. I really feel for the family of this guy. It's such a terrible circumstance. |
My heart goes out to the young lads family life will never be the same.
Poor kid..rip |

RIP. Always sad to lose a life, especially so young.
Going to be slightly controversial though and say, I would bet this wasn't actually 'because' of whatever drugs he had taken, but they way he took them. Either way too much or mixed with alcohol...as the majority of 'bad experiences' are. Now, this makes it no less sad and no less of a waste of a life, but I disagree that scaring people away from even daring to talk about drugs is the way to go, much more helpful would be some kind of..drug education or something maybe. People will always take drugs, no matter how much other wish it wasn't so. |

people need to understand that it is criminals that supply illegal drugs. At any stage in the supply chain the drug can be mixed with any type of impurity to make it seems like you are getting more etc. People wouldn't accept that at the chemist, they wouldn't accept that at the supermarket, so why do they risk it for a quick "high". Every time they take something, its a lottery with the possibility of death

... But yes, anyway, just pointing out that you're right: dealers cut their product with all sorts of nasty crap. It's usually not the drugs that kill in these cases, but whatever drain cleaner or rather poison happens to have been cut into the mix. Another very common one is people cutting speed in with cocaine, which can end pretty badly. |
