X Factor star Mason Noise has spoken out about his sexuality following speculation from fans.

Mason addressed his supporters in a series of posts on Instagram after he appeared in a photoshoot with Gay Times Magazine.

"A lot of you have been asking if I'm gay or straight since I posted this with @gaytimesmag," Mason wrote alongside a picture from the magazine. "Regardless of my sexuality we should focus on the two not being separate in society because actually, it doesn't matter one bit."

He added: "It's been one hell of a journey already. And it's only just beginning. Thankyou @gaytimesmag. Thankyou to the supporters who have been with me all the way. I love you."

Manson appeared on The X Factor last year where he made the live shows despite dramatically storming off the stage at the six chair challenge.

Speaking earlier in the summer, the singer revealed plans to release new music later this year.

"I don't want the sound to be typical as then people will be disappointed," he told the Daily Star newspaper.

And Mason, who said he still speaks with mentor Nick despite the DJ's own X Factor exit, has big plans for the music video.

"I want Idris Elba on my new video, the next video is going to be huge," he told the tabloid. "I think he is on the level that I want to go.

"We have the concept all planned out, if you watch my other videos you will know they are like a movie."
