Police Arrest this Punk

I'm probably a terrible person but when someone went through a train I was on asking people for money. I told her to get a job like the rest of us have to. (She actually had a very nice gold tooth flashing and didn't look like here was anything wrong with her). I was kind of amazed how many people were fishing out purses and putting hands in pockets. Are people too embarrassed or polite to say no when asked for money by a perfect stranger?

Ammi 11-09-2016 06:52 AM

...oh he's Bulgarian as well...he's soooooo Bulgarian that the DM had to mention that twice/shocking ...bloody immigrants and bloody homeless, pffft....maybe they scour the streets to find their stories or maybe they 'plant' their stories themselves../who knows...*hands the baton over to TS now..*....

I was going to make my 10,000'th post deep and meaningful, but hey ho

There is nothing unusual in this at all. For many beggars in London, its a lucrative business. They put on the old clothes get cash from well meaning passers by, finish the day by driving off in their BMW back to their rather nice house in the suburbs. Its been going on for years, so there is no reason to make an example of one guy

Ammi 11-09-2016 07:25 AM

...sorry Arista, I can't make any more posts..(I'm being a bit sneaky here..)..I handed the baton over to TS so my time is done...them's the rules...

Amy Jade 11-09-2016 08:11 AM

My mums started rufusing money to beggars because of people like this, we went to Blackpool and she gave a 'homeless' man £3 and went and took him a bottle of pop and not long after in an arcade thing a woman who worked there said he wasn't poor at all and he was well known around there for it but he drove a nice recent car.

It's actually so sad because genuine needy people suffer even more because of these people who take advantage of strangers kindness and also it's pretty disgusting to pretend to be in a bad position to get money off people who could possibly be in an even worse financial place but are kind hearted enough to still help people out.

I fell for this on holiday in Benidorm pretty recently. We were sat in one of the outside bars..and some guy came hobbling over with (what looked like) an obvious disability and a too small walking stick which made it look worse, I emptied my purse of change as I was a bit tipsy and I felt so sorry for him and was generally in a good mood being on holiday and all. Was maybe about 30 euros there. Later that day we went for the rep meeting and were told to avoid the men who pretend they have disabilities to beg :bored: I felt a bit stupid, but I guess there is always the chance he WASN'T one of the fakes..at least I tell myself that to feel less of an idiot :joker:

Northern Monkey 11-09-2016 01:52 PM

Lol i'd have told him to feck off.I only ever give any small change to them if they are
1.British
and
2.Proper stinky looking tramps with no doubts.
You can tell the real homeless a mile off.

If it's irrelevant then why the need to highlight it?

Goes without saying that what he's doing is wrong but I can't help thinking this story is more an anti-migrant one than an anti-scammer one. Daily Mail love stuff like this.

I agree with you on this Jamie.
That is certainly more likely what it is really about.

Love how this is your main concern lol. Make Britain Great again eh.

Livia 11-09-2016 03:07 PM

Anyone found scamming in this way should be made an example of; preferably prosecuted and handed a custodial sentence. It makes people think all homeless people are cheats and scammers when they are not.

Yes i believe in feeding and helping the poor of this country before encouraging them to come from elsewhere to beg or take money from our taxes. When we have non our own people living on the street is when we start feeding the rest of the world. We should'nt even be opening the doors to other country's beggars. They contribute less than nothing.

Paula D 12-09-2016 03:02 PM

How did the writer of the article even know he was a migrant?? Looks fairly non descript to me??

He does look non descript,I agree Paula.

The writer probably thinks everyone begging are migrants anyway I'd guess.

...and how do you determine which homeless people are British and which aren't? Rate the accent from 1 to 10? Go round town handing out citizenship tests to the beggars?
