It\'s Saint Davids Day!!
 

Today, in Wales it's the day of celebration in remembrance of the death of Saint David. And it's always celebrated on the 1st of March.

Kids dress up in costumes, you can stuff your face with welsh cakes and take part in competitions, called Eisteddfodau.

The patron saint of sheep.

On the 1st of March it is customary in Wales to wear wellington boots, to commemorate one of David's ingenious ideas of putting sheep's hind leg in your wellys so they couldnt run away.

Aww.. it's been rubbish really.
My freinds were poking bloody welsh cakes in my face when I can't eat them, even the smell makes me feel sick, my form lost in the eisteddfod and I had to go to the dentist.:laugh:

He was telling me last year he won 5 1st's and 1 2nd.
He said their day is tommrorw. and they are doing it all tommrorow. the poem writing and the sports.

Then they are announcing the results in the sports hall.
he said hes aiming to get 3 1st's.
