I don't think she does her job that badly,a lot of her criticism of govt. policy are very valid.

However she does come out with some of the most silliest of comments at times, especially during interviews.

If she found the question he posed silly she should've just moved on after first mentioning it.

He was being a bit of an ass but the way she was a dog with a bone with it didn't do her any favours and she clogged up the remainder of her airtime ranting instead of getting some bloody dignity and moving on.

Well the current actual foreign secretary is pretty guilty of some amazing gaffes too.

However both are not meant for the role in my view.
