I think she'd be too nice and never infract/ban anyone tbh.

She has said loads of times that she doesn't want to be a mod and her life is busy enough already.

It's tough work being a moderator I'm not surprised she doesn't want the gig.

Ammi is too nice to be a moderator. I think she probably knows that too and I doubt she would want the job...part of it is having a fair few who hate you..and at the moment shes pretty much unanimously loved.

Having said that I remember the 'too nice' argument being used against Niamh :think:

I have no idea what the process is of deciding who should or could be a moderator, whatever it is, it works.
Mods past and present on here I have always found helpful, there when needed and good at having not distant but maybe controlled interaction.

It is something I would hate to do and some people are likely better suited to it than others.
As to Ammi being one, she is a very gentle soul on here near all the time,having a stab at thinking on this, I doubt she would like being one really just due to how she is on the forum with everyone really.
Over my years on here,she has been there for me many times, when she was called rhino too,and then Ammi.

So for me, this is a decision that should be taken by those who decide it on the forum, probably most people are good to very good candidates to be one, there would only be about 5 people,(in addition to myself), I think and would say should not be mods and who I would really hate to see as such.

All of the current mods have been and are perfect choices in my view, as was lovely Kerry, when she was with us and was one too.
So for me as I said right at the start of this post, whatever the system is for choosing them, long may that continue.

If you want fair and balanced and Ammi doesn't want it then look no further than the man above me.

This is my dream team of mods right here.

Josy - The leader, she has balls made from iron girders and she won't take crap from anyone. I imagine her with an eye patch for some reason. :think:

Niamh - The delightful Irish rose, she bewitches you with her charm then when you have lost your mind BAM you have been infracted without even knowing it.

Marc - he's the comedian, the one that plays off the rest. King banter.

Ammi - the mediator. She takes a hostile situation and somehow just diffuses it until Josy comes in with a sledgehammer and sets it off again.

Joeysteele - Joey is the reason, the calm, the logical. Moral situations don't phase him. Say a personal friend of his acts a prat on Tibb? He deals with it totally un biased and fairly.

You can't go wrong with that team right there. That's the A-team of moddery, the elite. Put that combo together and you've got the best damn mod team on the Internet.
