When you were 24?

I remember being 24yrs old and thinking that i knew everything and everyone else who challenged me on that issue was completely wrong. It wasn't long after that age when i realized that i actually knew fek all. I now take the stance that i will be forever learning throughout my life and will always be learning. How old were you when you stopped thinking you were a big shot and you too were wrong and actually knew fek all?

I never really had that choice tbf. Had family in our household who are crippled with disability and their needs took over very early on in my life. I moved out when I was 19 and have been on my own since. Didn't really have any problems after that. I got married at 27. I guess I've been lucky to learn a lot of hard lessons early and that really made my 20's go smoothly.

24 is exactly the age I think a lot of people cool down and settle into who they are. I would say my stress went down a lot after that point... I proved what I wanted to prove to myself about being confident and capable and I was less enthusiastic, but even more secure in my late 20's than I ever was in my late teens/early 20's. It's like before then you have a weird biological need to make an impression on the world. The benefit or curse of the young?

Many people start to care less about **** as they age, especially giving a **** what others think, and that I think that helps to smooth out any wild rough edges in someone's personality... a lot of young streaks can go out gracefully in that manner anyway.

It is true that the more you learn and understand things, the more you realise how little you actually know ..... it's actually a sign that you have in fact learnt something

Today I learned that I like fried squid.

That was the first time I ever tried it, and I thought, where you been all my life baby?

Knowing feck all has its perks. I've found the more you know the more cynical you become. I'm dreading hitting my 30's I think i might become a grumpy old man by then.
