Below is a short video poem i thought i'd share that i wrote many many moons ago now.
It is voiced by my beautiful little Niece Flynn.:)

It is one of a few a simple educational videos i did many years ago for primary school's. It had to be short and sweet and because it's a child speaking it helped to get the anti bully message across to the kids watching it. It was used to open up discussion on the subject. :wavey:

....awww, Johnny...(it's not one of those things that you can say, lovely ..because of the content obviously and the meaning of the poem itself but she reads it perfectly to say everything it needs to and was meant to..:love:..)....I can see why this would have been used I schools and well done you for writing it...:hug:...

I think that makes it more powerful tbh, that's it's simple and short. Because the message is put across so well, what she says (and the way she says it) is enough without it needing to be longer

Thanks for the nice comments.
Flynn at the time i recorded it was 7yrs old. She's a teenager now.
I have a few other ones of her doing similar things on the anti bully subject.
I wrote an anti bully song and asked her to sing it. She was too nervous for that so i got her to recite the lyrics as a poem. And the other one was titled Exclusion. Similar to this one again making clear valid points on how wrong it is to exclude someone.
I'll look for them later on and see if i can get them on here so you can see what i mean.

All the more poignant and powerful for being read by an innocent child. She reads it superbly, and you show the serious and very, very, caring side of you which I know so well Johnny.
