the Philippines new leader is an absolute headcase. He has been murdering people all over the place prior to the election, and was still voted in. He was also less than complimentary to Obama ... he just doesn't give a crap.

The Legit Killers Trade Mark
and a sharp warning
that No one can sell drugs
under the New rule.

Tragic
that she went the way of death.

Livia 18-09-2016 12:58 PM

She made a choice, no doubt she knew the risks. That's the way it goes.

Wow Duterte's a complete psychopath, I hope he gets removed from power before long 'cus people like that will only get more extreme and violent the longer they are in power. Encouraging human rights abuse and executions is insane behavior, the police are no better than the enforcers of the syndicates they are trying to stamp out if they follow through on his order. I hope the UN comes down on him like a ton of bricks.

As always, the Daily Mail comment section excels at reminding me why people are trash.

Like they did with Saddam Hussain, Robert Mugabe and a whole host of other human rights abusers. I'm not holding my breath... the UN are a useless, toothless waste of money.

I won't be losing any sleep over a dead drug dealer though, not when there are so many decent people dying all over the world.

Without due process of the law, it's impossible to know how many of the 3k+ people he's killed so far were involved with drugs or not.

Agreed. I am in no way speaking in support of the lunatic. But the person who is the subject of this story is described as a Drug Dealer who was 45, more than experienced enough at life to know the risks of living that life in that place.

Marsh. 18-09-2016 01:35 PM

Woah, any need for the picture of the dead body? :umm2:

Where is the proof she was dealing drugs?... You're justifying murder without due process.

Oh I didn't mean it was too graphic for the thread. I meant in relation to the article, is there really any need to provide a photograph of her corpse just left there. :umm2:

Not graphic but unnecessary and tasteless.

She's not justifying the murder, she's acknowledging the dangerous/murky place this woman lived her life in.

Oh I understand now

smudgie 18-09-2016 04:31 PM

So basically, if you want to kill someone, shoot them dead, pop a couple of drugs on them and leave a message...yeah, I see how that works.
I am not saying this woman was dealing or not, but it is wide open for people to bump others off.

But how could we know for certain she was a drug dealer if she's just been shot in the street like a dog? Like Smudgie said, it would be easy enough to kill anyone without worrying about the consequences as long as you can plant some drugs on them.

I'm sure that has happened, the regime isn't mindful of human rights. What Livia was saying was that its a known dodgy place, so even just being there, you take your chances, let alone if you are up to something considered dodgy

There is no law in a land where people can kill each other freely and are encouraged to do so by the government. This was a murder and the facts of it are not clear and open for manipulation due to measures enforced by a crazy man playing president.

All we can say for sure is that a woman was killed. Anything else is speculation.
