Getting offended for no reason seems to be the 'in' thing now.The worst part is some people think that when they say 'i'm offended' that everyone else has to move heaven and earth to make them feel better. The best response is usually to tell them to feck off and grow up.

I'm offended by the size of that picture in the OP Arista :fist:

LeatherTrumpet 19-09-2016 10:08 AM

mmm that looks tasty

smudgie 19-09-2016 10:25 AM

Mmmmm, looks tasty.
As an old Colonial would it be really bad for me to try one?

Edit. Just realised it had crushed potatoes on top...they can keep it.

So it's just the word 'Empire' she doesn't like? Better not tell her about Empire biscuits.

Empire biscuits are actually a biproduct of the slave trade though. Made from the floor sweepings of slave ships, apparently.

James 19-09-2016 11:07 AM

I wonder if they have ever been made on Bake Off. I never really liked the cherry on top of them.

Northern Monkey 19-09-2016 11:12 AM
