Grande Fratello VIP

I doubt anyone on here watches Italian BB (or understands Italian!), but after 16 years, tonight is the premiere of the first ever Celebrity version of the show! Should be interesting to see what's going on and how long it lasts.

it's odd because this is the month that the normal version usually airs, so I don't know if it will be a shorter length or if it will be 4-6 months like the normal series usually is!

BB and The Celebrity Island are the only Italian shows I watch so I am not really clued up on Italian celebrities unless they are very famous, so I will treat it as a normal series.

I will be watching! Apparently Ron Moss, who was in The Bold and the Beautiful, is going In!

I'd find this odd.

Bold and the Beautiful is HUGE in Italy, but he is still just an American, he can't speak Italian, I don't get the point.

Absolutely love their set - easily the best Big Brother studio around at the moment.

Their set is brilliant

What did you think of the new host for the series? Football player Totti's wife? She's fit and she started out shakey but got better through the launch. I mean I love Alessia but nice to see a small change temporarily. She looks like she will put the HMs in their place if they talk over her though. She was quite tough and made Pamela look so small when she found out Pamela was trying to purposely get nominated. :joker:

Interesting, looking at polls, it could be Costantino that is the first evicted. That's what arrogance does, never liked him.

Sorry if you don't watch (as you just mentioned the set), you probably have no idea what I'm talking about.

Better late than never.

Don't understand a word of Italian and have only watched her on the Twitter clips that are a welcome addition to my timeline every Monday but I think she's been fine - indeed I barely noticed the difference at first. Seems to be a confident performance.

Have always had a soft spot for Grande Fratello - they always have nice houses and nice studios, and it was one that at my peak of international watching I could quite easily find plenty of photos and videos for.

It's a shame you can't understand because it's actually quite good! Like Pamela being disqualified for rule breaking, closing herself in the bathroom, breaking her microphone, and demanding a taxi and shouting at cameramen to stop filming her on her exit... all whilst the show was live!! :joker::joker:
