Sorry :joker: If it's any consolation, I like the name shortened to "Tom" but I just don't like "Thomas"

Anything that gets shortened to something with a z on the end like Gaz, Baz or Daz.

Reminds me of football interviews when they put a y on the end of all their teammates names. "Campy, Smithy and Wardy played well and helped us get the 3 points"

the only names that come to mind are Emma and Gemma

I like shortening people's name automatically as well because I feel like the unshortened style is condescending- that's how I feel about it anyway :shame: I'm just like can't we keep it casual if they prefer lengthened :joker:

I prefer being called Jess to Jessica most of the time tbh, Jessica is way too common

Oh his a very good character, but then I loved that Game anyway.

I can't think of a specific name but I dislike flower related names except Heather and Lily. (Poppy, Rose, Briony, Fern etc just sound gross to me for some reason)

I know a girl called Chardonnay and I always think poor girl :(

That's definitely a British/English thing, they'd probably be shortened to Gar, Bar & Dar here :laugh:

i'm actually Nick, but i prefer being called Nicky, just something way cooler


but at my school, i was being called Rick all the time, it annoyed me so much :hehe:
