Nightmare neighbours - have you ever had one?

Not really - a few years ago a few football balls were popped after I sent them over the fence.

My current neighbours are a nightmare - the husband gets up really early and on more than one occasion has started banging and drilling through the wall at 6:00AM!! He is obsessed with his garden and mows the lawn at least 3 times a week - often starting as early as 7:00AM :bored: They also have a demon dog and he is just an old, ugly bitter man.

My neighbour is an arsehole, he's one of those people who objects to everyones planning permission even people who arent anywhere near him

I'm in a student house which is above a letting agency and they rang our landlord accusing us of throwing a pizza box over the wall and wanting one of us to personally remove it without any proof of it being us (which it wasn't). Sooo petty :umm2:

LaLaLand 01-04-2017 09:32 PM

Yes!

In the house we lived in from when I was born until 1995, the next door neighbour and one across the road were just horrible. The next door guy was actually a "friend" of my Dad who basically was jealous that he got married and had kids and made our lives hell when my Dad was in work but when he was home he'd be nice as pie. Like if my ball went into his garden he'd come out and swear at me and stuff (I was like 4) and would say it's going in the fire and what not... then he'd see my Dad coming from work and go to him saying "Oh hi I think this is your son's ball? Found it in the back earlier". Psycho.

The old lady across the road was just miserable and hateful and once threatened to phone the police on us because when I was about 2/3 I was in the front garden picking the cut grass up (like 10 blades of grass in total) and putting it through the fence onto the path outside, apparently this was "vandalism".

Horrible people.

....at least your neighbour did not hold a knife to your throat and tell ya they were going to kill ya

....eventually my neighbour had to pee...i slipped out to nearest call box and
police responded instantly

...my neighbour was prosecuted and i received £ compensation

We've had loads of horrible neighbours throughout the years.

Best to keep yersel' to yersel'. :)

I read poetry to my neighbours and they are so kind they have all chipped in and want me to move.

I insist on staying put
