No but I have relatives who swear they have.

Also, a friend of mine's Mum had a really terrifying dream that was kind of a premonition to a tragedy. She had one of those "you dream that you've woke up" dreams, and dreamt there was a black shadow standing over her in bed and putting it's hand on her stomach and like pulling something out of it.

She found out she had miscarried less than a week later.

No they dont exist.

smudgie 08-10-2016 07:16 PM

Not the Casper type or the head under the arm type.
I have seen people in spirit though.

Jessica. 08-10-2016 08:23 PM

Ghosts do not exist. Fact.

Jessica. 08-10-2016 08:24 PM

Nobody has ever seen a ghost because they don't exist

AnnieK 08-10-2016 08:25 PM

I wish they did exist....could seriously do with some advice from my mum right now.

Shaun 08-10-2016 08:30 PM

I have never told anybody what to believe. I know that most people believe in ghosts for comfort reasons, so I'm not trying to get personal about it. I could phrase it more politely but really it's not offensive either. Ghosts don't exist and I know that so I feel obligated to make that clear in threads like this.

I've seen worse things

Tbh.

I haven't either but I also don't have such a ridiculous level of arrogance that I feel qualified to tell others what they have and haven't seen. :)

Crimson Dynamo 16-10-2016 03:43 PM

"There are two possible reasons for the failure of ghost hunters to find good evidence. The first is that ghosts don't exist, and that reports of ghosts can be explained by psychology, misperceptions, mistakes and hoaxes. The second option is that ghosts do exist, but that ghost hunters are simply incompetent."

well you fail to see a distinction betwixt people saying that they thought what they saw was "a ghost" and the fact that "ghosts" are not real

Plenty people think they saw what they perceive (from books, tv and film) as a "ghost" no one is disputing that.

Crimson Dynamo 16-10-2016 03:47 PM

Perhaps a "believer" can explain to the forum what a "ghost" is and how it operates etc?

flesh it out a little so to speak

Maybe you could explain, since you know they don't exist? So to be so sure they don't you must be pretty certain what one is?

Liam- 16-10-2016 03:50 PM

No but I have heard one, on many occasions, I'm a believer so I'm very open to the idea of seeing one.
