Arctic Monkeys and Girls Aloud
 

Has anyone heard the rumour that the Arctic Monkeys and Girls Aloud are doing a song together?

Someone mentioned it on my local radio station today?

Does anyone know anything about this..because if it's true then all my respect for the Arctics as a band will totally disappear!

whats wrong with that? i thought people liked it when popstars sung together.

Girls Aloud are a GREAT modern band,there music is excellent no denying.
They are a modern female Duran Duran.

Arctic Monkeys got famous for having the fastest selling debut album in English history! And actually having talent!

It's true. They are collaborating on a song. I love the Arctics' version of Love Machine and have it on the Radio 1 Live Lounge cd. I'll try and find a news piece for you.

POP stars GIRLS ALOUD and the ARCTIC MONKEYS have announced an unlikely collaboration.

The all-boy indie band said they had already recorded a backing track for the all-girl pop group.

Girls Aloud star SARAH HARDING said: “The big tip is we’re going to collaborate... I love these boys.

“They’ve got a strong future ahead of them.”

Arctic Monkeys frontman ALEX TURNER added: “MATT HELDERS - the band’s drummer - and Sarah in Rockford Studios, that’s how it’s going to work. Down in Wales for two weeks."

Matt added: “I’ve got a backing track ready for us. It won’t take two weeks, two days.”

The Arctic Monkeys have already covered Girls Aloud hit song Love Machine, which has become a favourite with some of their fans.

The bands made the announcement backstage at the Shockwaves NME Awards and the full video can be seen at NME.com.

I think it will be fun. I doubt if the Monkeys will do anything to embarrass themselves. It's a chance for Girls Aloud to get some cred and some cool fans.

I assure you that Ruthies not my lover but I have to agree with her once again. There's also talk that that some 50 years ol music guru is the actual driving force behind the Monkeys. What do you have to say to that?
