Fright Night: What songs would you give the finalists?
 

An interesting theme but would songs would you pick. I would choose:

Gifty: I Put A Spell On You by Screamin' Jay Hawkins (Sonique version)
Emily: Freak Like Me by Sugababes (originally wanted a slowed down version of Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This but changed my mind)
Sam: Left Outside Alone by Anastacia

Matt: Could It Be Magic by Barry Manilow (slowed down)
Ryan: Every Breath You Take by The Police (he'll murder it)

4 Of Diamonds: Sweet Dreams by Beyonce
5 After Midnight: Beautiful Monster by Ne-Yo/Somebody's Watching Me by Rockwell (MASHUP)

Saara: Wicked Game by Chris Isaak (London Grammar version)
Honey G: Thriller by Michael Jackson/A Nightmare On My Street by Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince (MASHUP)

well maybe for some inspiration take a look at my x factor game, we now had a fright night theme :)

can we not push the Emily doing slowed down classics like its something new when Queen Ella was doing it while she was still in nappies

Good point! It seems that the slowed down stripped versions route isn't doing no good for her. Last week's performance didn't go anywhere so it would be great if Simon and her were to go down a different route maybe. If she could bring back her guitar and play it while singing then that could be better, rather than these stripped back renditions that sound like John Lewis ad songs.
