Pete Doherty wants former bandmate Carl Barat to be his best man.

Pete, who fell out with Carl after he threw him out of The Libertines, has buried the hatchet and is desperate for Carl to be there when he marries supermodel Kate Moss.

Carl, who is the lead singer of new group Dirty Pretty Things, admits he was surprised by Pete's request and has hinted the wedding could take place soon.

Nice to see them finally getting on. I think Pete knows deep down that Carl was right to throw him from The Libertines.
