Simpson could be the father of Anna Nicole Smith's daughter Dannielynn, according to reports from America.

The former American footballer has allegedly told documentary film maker Norman Pardo that he was 'throwing his hat into the ring' in the ongoing custody battle.

Pardo told the New York Post: 'He (OJ) said he knew Anna Nicole pretty well, and he said he had slow-moving sperm, and he might be the father.' (ewwwwwww!!)

Pardo also claims O J said: 'I hope they don't do a DNA test on Anna Nicole's baby. If they find out Dannielynn is mine, I don't want Fred Goldman trying to seize her money - or the baby herself.'

Simpson starred with the Playboy model in 'Naked Gun 331/3: The Final Insult' in 1994 and Pardo filmed with him from 2000 to 2005.

Smith died in February, aged 39, and six-month-old Dannielynn is now at the centre of a paternity battle as at least five men claim to be her father.

The list of possible biological fathers already includes photographer Larry Birkhead and lawyer Howard K. Stern.

Simpson was cleared of murdering his wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her lover Ron Goldman in 1994. Ron's father Fred Goldman pursued O.J. for damages in court over his son's murder.

Anywho...I thought he got found guilty of the murder? Although I was only young when it happend..adn if he is the baby's daddy, Then she got around a bit before she died, which isnt fair on the baby, not knowing who the Dad is

Back on topic. He did it. There was loads of evidence but his defence team played the race card and he got away with it as the main prosecuting officer was a known racist.

What about all the blood? What about the fact that he couldn't account for his where about at the time of the killing? What about the fact that there was enough time for him to commit the murder and be where he said he was? What about his jealousy?

There was easily enough evidence to con vice. His whole case hinged on a copper who was a know racist. Take him out of the equation and OJ would probably be inside as we speak

Well, if I went over it all again, I might feel differently Geoff, but I do remember watching it on BBC2 all those years ago.. and my feeling back then was that he was being framed.

However, things change. I'm older now (and clearly wiser) .. so maybe I would come to a different conclusion if I were to watch it all again now.

When I was watching FOX news (I only watch it to mock republicans, I promise!) - they said there was possibly around 10 alledged fathers. Of course many of them will be fake cos the true father gets a large sum of money but she certainly was getting around. Larry Birkhead said she was only with him around the time Daniellyn was conceived, but she occasionally saw Howard K Stern for "business" reasons. Either a lot of people are lying, or Birkheads in denial.

Oh dear. Isn't it tragic what some people will do to get their name in the media though. The poor girl has no chance of Resting In Peace!
