One, it's so sad.

When I was younger there'd be crowds out and about - Halloween Trick or Treating, Bonfire Night for "Penny for the Guy" with our Guy Fawkes made out of tights filled with newspaper dressed in my Dad's old clothes in a pram which we'd later throw on the bonfire and then Carol Singing.

Where's it all gone eh!?

Shaun 01-11-2016 05:45 PM

None - we didn't have anything to give out.

Last year we put a pumpkin outside and I think that's pretty much the universal "they're welcoming us" sign for trick-or-treaters so we didn't get one this year. I don't mind doing it I just couldn't afford it this year (spent about £15 on stuff thinking "lol this is too much" and it was gone within an hour last year).

Jason. 01-11-2016 05:46 PM

It's sad that people taking their kids out is dying out. I'm glad Bonfire Night is dying out though. Awful awful.

Withano 01-11-2016 06:14 PM

Zero and came on this thread to brag cos i thought id be the only one

Jason. 01-11-2016 06:19 PM

Halloween is much bigger in the US than it is here.

Mokka 01-11-2016 06:25 PM

Approx 50 ish... they came in groups of about 5 ...so we only answered the door about a dozen times

Calderyon 01-11-2016 06:27 PM

Zero.

But since i eat candy myself, they would have not been any to give away.

Xtopher 01-11-2016 06:41 PM

Cherie 01-11-2016 07:16 PM

Two, one little girl of about 7 on her own dressed as a cat (with an adult hovering) and two of my neighbours sons who are about 8 who said Happy Halloween Miss Cherie, i felt about 90 but it was very cute

Cherie 01-11-2016 07:17 PM

Also apart from Diwali, there have been practically no fireworks which is a bit odd

Firewire 01-11-2016 07:18 PM

6, and they all came together.

MTVN 01-11-2016 07:25 PM

Not sure if we had any because I very wisely made sure I was in the pub during trick or treating hours :smug:

And then I got there and they were hosting a kids halloween party :umm2:

Will. 01-11-2016 07:26 PM

There was loads of trouble in the east side of the borough last night, some person got their shed blown up by teenagers with fireworks.
