FORMER England defender Wayne Bridge is the latest star to sign up for the new series of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

The retired left-back, who hung up his boots after a stint with Reading in 2014, follows in the footsteps of former Premier League stars including John Fashanu, Neil Ruddock, Jimmy Bullard and Keiron Dyer by heading Down Under to take part in the ITV show.

Bosses hope the ex-Chelsea defender will talk about his team-mate John Terry’s alleged affair with Veronica Perroncel, his ex-girlfriend and mother of his son Jaydon, nine, which rocked football in 2010.

Bridge, 36, has since found love with pop star Frankie Bridge, 27, from The Saturdays and share two children, Parker, two, and Carter, one.
