text conversation below:

Do u have 10 mins for me to pop round ? Couple of things to discuss?

Me: No Im too busy today and going to an auction this avvo. What it is?

Ok dont worry not urgent

Me: Yes but say what it actually is for crying out loud!

(then i get what its about yada yada yada (nothing urgent))

-------------------------------

I get this a lot, even from my daughters, even the TL will text me "can I ask you a question?"

Have people forgotten to just say what the feck they mean, what is the big fecking mystery?

 It is Sooooo true.

I hate when my wife starts to say something to me such as; "Can you do me a favour...." then stops, then I'll ask her what it is, and she says "It doesn't matter".

Grrrr.

Sometimes it's too much info to put in a text? Why do you have time to question in when you are busy? If it were urgent they would ring or call anyway

My Life

I just wasted 20mins
on the phone to a Manager In London
who referred me to Manager In China.

I won't do that AGAIN

It is a bit annoying when someone does this, although I actually did it a couple of weeks ago.

The reason for it being is that it was 'drama' and I wanted to see his reaction :hehe: And I kinda felt as though it'd come over better than trying to explain in a long message.

People should talk in person more though, texts, social media, email are ruining proper human interactions imo /oldladyrant http://smileys.emoticonsonly.com/emo...d_man-3569.gif

Lol I don't even disagree tbh. It's a good way of communicating for sure (and good for keeping in touch if you maybe live a while away or whatever) but I think it's used in place of seeing people you could see a lot of the time.

Yeah of course it's good for some things like you say, keeping in touch with people who are far away etc

haha tell me about it, my daughter was trying to contact her friend (one of her best friends I may add) and she needed an answer to something urgently but she wasn't replying to whatever she was messaging her on so I said can't you just ring her? and she actually didn't know her phone number
