It's not very good that BBC News and Sky News are basically ignoring this, to give blanket coverage to the US election.

The driver has been arrested for driving the tram at speed

Then if that is true, he DESERVES arresting because perhaps this is yet another bitter tragedy which could have been avoided.

Yes Kirk , this is awful and sounds very like the driver is at fault , shocked a 5 people losing their lives.

On a happier note Kirk - Well done on yer grand , wish i'd have had a bet , felt for months (in me water) he was gonna win.

I won a good deal on the Grand National winner Rule The World at 50/1, and Brexit too Hijax, so this is 'icing on the cake'. :hee:

I do always treat my 2 cancer charities though when I have a win. (and my wife usually deprives me of most of the rest.)

Well personally i am pretty disgusted by the lack of news coverage - just the run by at bottom of screen , this would normally have been a massive story and all day its been Donald Trump - surely we all knew from early am he had won , no excuse for this - our news channels are absolute shyte.
