How does the voting system work?
So I understand that the voting consists of the judges and public vote but is it 50% each?
Also, say the person is at the bottom of the leaderboard with 25 points, would they have a better overall score if they were still at the bottom of the leaderboard but with let's say 30 points? |
can someone answer
|
Yeah it's 50/50.
So with Ed getting the least points each week he'd have to do considerably well with the public each week, which he is doing to avoid the dance off. It's obviously harder for the mid table people who get the same points, especially if they're forgotten by the public. |
basically you are put on a leaderboard and 1st gets maximum points and so on on till you get to the bottom of the table.
both the judges and public have one each and the points get added together to make a new leaderboard to determine the B2 |
but only the public decide the final
|
So do the actual scores make no difference to the voting? Obviously they make a difference to the leaderboard but will you have a worse overall score if you're last with 25 points as opposed to last with 30 points? Or will you still get the same score because you're last?
Sorry if that doesn't make sense, it's really hard to explain |
Its why I dont watch it. Its completely improbable for the producers least favourite to make it to the final 5.

If there was ten contestants, the judges score will be turned into a ranking from 1-10 and the public votes will be turned into a rank 1-10. The couples with the lowest combined ranks makes the bottom 2, making it incredibly unlikely for the judges least favourite to stay towards the end. |
