Texture is probably closest to an apricot, cant describe the flavour really, not really comparable to anything else I've had. More sweet than you're used to too.

Ive not seen them in England but if you find them you gotta tell me where!

Did see them in China town in San Francisco, maybe A UK China Town might have some

It's used as a meat substitute for vegetarians (despite being a fruit, it really doesn't seem like one, it's quite filling as well). I think it'd work really well in a curry or something. The flavour is a little...salty I guess, really nice.

This opinion just totally made up for all the rest of your BB/XF ones I disagree with (although watermelon is my top fave).

I had a pulled jackfruit burger which was amazing but I've never had a raw jackfruit.!

Well they have tinned Jackfruit on e bay ! In syrup or brine ? So it comes sweet or salty.

Amazon have whole fresh Jackfruit as well !

Hmm, I've only ever had it straight from the tree. I'd go for syrup myself out of those options. But if Amazon are selling the entire fruit, then get that! You just might need some sort of chainsaw or machete to cut into it haha.

Around my way, the only fruits we know are The Apple, Orange and Banana and on very rare special occasions, we'll take a walk on the wild side and have a Pear.
